PREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: With Wade gone, the Marvel Four of T’Challa, Wanda, Natasha, and Peter knew that they had to stick together in the inevitable upcoming merge. None of them had an idol and knew they had to hit the ground running once they got to the beach. As for DC, they all agreed to stick together to take out the four Marvels. The tribes merged and everyone was pretty nervous as they didn’t know how the tribes would get along. Bruce, Diana, Clark, Victor, and Barry all agreed to stick together, and needed to get Harley and Joker on board, but Harley was already talking to Wanda and Natasha, telling them that they would be willing to jump ship if the Marvels agreed to take out who they wanted. Natasha didn’t like the idea of it, but Wanda said it was the only way to secure the numbers. Joker said that he wanted to go after Bruce first, then Clark, and then Diana. Barry and Victor didn’t pose much of a threat. At the immunity challenge, the men had to complete a slide puzzle while the women completed a block puzzle. For the men, Barry took an early lead, and only Peter seemed to be on his toes. Barry easily won immunity. For the women, it was pretty even across the board, with the final moments coming down between Diana and Harley, in which Diana won. Back at camp, Wanda and Natasha told T’Challa and Peter that Joker and Harley would be willing to vote with them if they voted for Bruce. T’Challa didn’t like that idea, and wanted to go after Joker, the obvious villain. However, Wanda knew that this was the only way to secure their safety. Victor made sure to confirm with Joker and Harley that they were down to get rid of Wanda, the person that they seemed most unsure about. Harley agreed, as did Joker. T’Challa still didn’t trust the plan and told Peter that they had to find an idol in case. In the woods, Peter snagged it, to both he and T’Challa’s relief. At tribal, Peter knew he didn’t want to have to waste the idol so early, but decided to keep it in his pocket for the worst case scenario. When asked, Bruce expressed concern that Harley and the Joker would be up to shenanigans, but he said that he trusted the DC tribe to stick together. Sure enough, Wanda received the five votes from Victor, Barry, Diana, Clark, and Bruce while Bruce got votes from T’Challa, Peter, Natasha, and Wanda. It came down to Joker and Harley, who voted for Bruce, to much of DC’s surprise. Bruce, however, wasn’t surprised, and figured he’d be in danger if they flipped. Bruce was upset, but happy to be on the jury, hoping to make sure a fellow Justice League member won the game.
