PREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: The merge was on and immdiately, Alan, Matt, and Peter met up. Peter knew that Brian was not to be trusted, while Alan had his sights set on Brice. Matt pulled in Ramona and Gina, hoping to make one big alliance of 5. Morgan, Gonzalez, Alexis, and Ali couldn't believe their whole alliance stayed together, but Gonzalez knew Ali had the idol and she may have to expose it at a point. Brice and Brian met up, knowing that there were two obvious groups forming, and not sure of which one to side with. Morgan wanted Brian in the alliance, but Gonzalez didn't trust Brice. At the immunity challenge, the gang had to put a slide puzzle together with one hand. First man and woman to finish win immunity. It was neck and neck with Alan and Brian for the men, but it was Alan who shocked everyone to win the point. For the girls, it seemed to be a three-way race between Gina, Morgan, and Ali, in which Morgan won. Back at camp, Alan's alliance immediately wanted to target either Brice or Brian. Matt suggested that they go after one of the girls, for they had a bigger majority. The girls alliance of Ali, Alexis, Morgan, and Gonzalez wanted to target Peter and knew that they needed numbers. Gonzalez suggested reaching out to Ramona or Gina, but Alexis said that Matt had a tight grip on them. That's when Ali suggested going after Matt. Once Matt was gone, they could try to rope in Ramona and Gina without having to result to Brian and Brice. Brian didn't know if he should use his idol or not, but Ali assured him that the plan was to vote out Matt. Brian was paranoid and thought it might be a good idea to put some votes on someone else in case an idol was used for Matt. At tribal council, Peter said that he was sure it was the girls vs. the boys with Ramona, Gina, Brian, and Brice in the middle. Brian said that the sides would definitely be drawn tonight. Before the votes, Brian considered playing his idol but decided against it. At the vote, Alan, Ramona, Gina, Matt, and Peter all voted for Brian, while Ali, Alexis, Gonzalez, Morgan, and Brice voted for Matt. Brian threw his vote to Peter in case an idol was used. In a revote, Alan, Ramona, Gina, and Peter still voted for Brian while Ali, Alexis, Gonzalez, Morgan, and Brice voted for Matt, sending him home. Brian breathed a sigh of relief that the numbers ended up on his side. He knew that the girls weren't bluffing him and that he could trust them, while Alan, Ramona, Gina, and Peter were now in the minority.
