PREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: Cirie, Jared, and Colby all had idols. Colby was upset that he had to vote his brother out, but grateful that he still had an idol in his possession. Since this was the last week to play it, Colby knew he was guaranteed a spot in the final four. Lauren knew that Cirie and Jared wouldn’t vote for each other, so they either all had to gang up on Tarzan, or she had to make a move on either of them. Lauren talked to Tarzan about flipping and voting out Cirie or Jared if one of them didn’t win immunity. Tarzan nodded, but was shocked that Lauren wanted to betray the alliance. Tarzan told Cirie and Jared that Lauren wanted to backstab them. Cirie knew that nobody was gonna bother with Colby, and expected Lauren to do this. Lauren talked to Colby about getting rid of Cirie, and Colby agreed, knowing Cirie and Jared were unstoppable. At the immunity challenge, the five remaining contestants had to balance on a small peg. Colby dropped first to save his adrenaline for the next challenge. Tarzan fell next, followed by Lauren. It was Cirie and Jared, and Jared decided to thank his mom for all she’s done for him by dropping and giving her the win. The two embraced, knowing they were in the final four. Colby and Lauren discussed getting out Jared next. Tarzan was still iffy on the plan, and didn’t like how quick Lauren was to go against Cirie. Tarzan talked to Cirie and Jared and said he would vote with them to get rid of Lauren, since he lost respect for her. Jared was ecstatic because this meant he didn’t even have to play his idol. At tribal council, Colby said he was happy that he had his idol and wouldn’t be going home. Lauren said that it was obvious she needed to team up with Tarzan to get out Jared. However, Jared pulled out his idol and put it around his neck. Lauren was annoyed, and said that her plans were about to take a spin. Then some whispering started. Lauren started whispering to Colby to get rid of Tarzan, while Cirie pulled aside Tarzan to tell him to stick to the plan of voting out Lauren. Tarzan now didn’t know who to believe. Before the votes were read, Colby decided to play the idol for himself, and Jared played his idol as well. It was revealed that Lauren voted for Tarzan, while Colby, Jared, Cirie, and Tarzan voted for Lauren. Lauren was sent packing, wishing she had found an idol to become one of the safe ones too.
