PREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: With Thunder D gone, Terri felt hopeless, with no allies left. She knew she needed to make some bonds, and tried talking to Matthew, seeing him as a fairly likable guy. Matthew knew Terri was a liability in challenges, but still felt like he wanted power, and decided to go looking for the idol. He searched for a while, and almost got caught by Terri, who tried to talk to him again. Matthew found the idol, but quickly hid it and ran away. Terri was suspicious. At the other camp, Cirie was trying to talk to more and more people, and tried talking to FairPlay to see where his head was at. FairPlay said that Chrissy was the scariest one out there, and was totally running things. Cirie assumed that it was Colby, since he was the most seasoned vet, but knowing Chrissy was running things, tried to rally the troops. She approached Tarzan, telling him that Chrissy was dangerous and wasn’t trustworthy, and then proceeded to tell Jay that Chrissy was a huge threat. Jay went back to Chrissy immediately, telling her that Cirie was spreading her name around. Chrissy didn’t know who was throwing her name around, and assumed it was FairPlay. She confronted him about it, and Jonny and Chrissy ended up in a fight. “Using Jonny as a target to hide behind was a bad idea, because now I’m the biggest threat,” Chrissy confessed. At the immunity challenge, a twist was announced. Two people would win immunity, and two people would be sent home. On the Favorites tribe, the competitors had to balance a ball on the end of a plank. Cirie, Colby, Cindy, Jonny, and Chrissy immediately dropped. Lauren and Tarzan were surprisingly solid, while Jay wavered a bit, and fell. Lauren knew she was a target, but couldn’t hold it much longer. Tarzan won immunity surprisingly. The Family was up next, and it was Terri who fell immediately, followed by Keith, Reed, Jared, and Melanie. It was down to Mindy, Matthew, and Sydney, and the three of them were solid for a while, until a sneeze sent Matthew out. Between Mindy and Sydney, Sydney didn’t want her target to emerge too big, and dropped, giving Mindy the win. Back at camp, the Family debated all sending Terri home for being the weakest. Terri knew she was in deep dirt, and debated whether or not spreading rumors about Matthew was her move, or if she should just approach him about using an idol on her if he had one. She approached Matthew, and asked, but Matthew said he couldn’t find the idol. He felt bad, but figured it was better to not stir the pot. At tribal council, Terri said that she tried everything she could, but was most upset that she’d have to leave her husband. When the votes were read, Terri voted for Sydney again, while the rest of the tribe sent Terri home, heartbroken. When the Favorites were at camp, Cirie was happy to see FairPlay and Chrissy fighting again, knowing their drama could potentially mask her and Lauren’s targets. Colby, Cindy, Tarzan, and Jay discussed whether they should vote for Lauren or Cirie, and decided on Cirie. However, Chrissy talked to Jay and Cindy about possibly getting Jonny out, for he was spreading rumors about their alliance. Jonny, knowing he may get votes from his “alliance,” went to Cirie and Lauren, telling them that he’d vote with them for Chrissy. At tribal council, Tarzan found out that Terri had gone home, and he was furious. Jonny found this as an opportunity to make a plea, and said that he would help Tarzan get revenge on the Family tribe since Thunder D was also sent home. Colby told Tarzan not to listen to them, but Tarzan said that he was done playing safe in the game. Chrissy then called out Jonny for his horrible behavior, and said that he was just acting out since Thunder was eliminated. But Lauren chimed in, telling Chrissy that they had the right to be upset since it was only their family members who had gone home. “Keith’s still here. Sunny, Thunder, and Terri are not,” Lauren said. Chrissy rolled her eyes. When the votes were revealed, Chrissy, Jay, and Cindy voted for Jonny, while Jonny, Lauren, and Cirie voted for Chrissy. Colby voted for Cirie. It was down to Tarzan, and he decided to side with Lauren and Jonny after they convinced him, and voted for Chrissy. Chrissy was pissed, and flipped off Jonny on the way out. Cirie and Lauren were happy that things were finally going their way.
