PREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: Cirie and Lauren knew they were on the outs of things, and decided to go searching for the hidden immunity idol. Cirie looked under a rock, and lucky enough, she found the idol on the Favorites beach. Shocked and excited, she decided to keep it from Lauren, just in case, but continued to look with Lauren in case. Sydney was upset to see her sister gone, but knew this decreased her target. At the immunity challenge, the two tribes had to brawl in the water, fighting to make baskets in a hoop. The Favorites easily dominated the challenge, sending the Family tribe to tribal council. Back at camp, Reed and Jared knew they were in the middle still, between the girls (Mindy, Sydney, Melanie) and guys (Matthew, Keith). There was also Thunder D and Terri, who were on the complete outs. Jared decided to try to combine both Mindy, Sydney, Melanie, Matthew, and Keith and just set all their votes for Terri or Thunder D. The girls argued that getting Terri out was a better move because Thunder could have an idol, while the boys were sick of Thunder’s behavior. At tribal council, the votes were split 3-2 because of this, with 3 votes for Terri and 2 for Thunder. Thunder D and Terri put their votes on Sydney, who they thought was the weakest. It was down to Reed and Jared, and the two of them stuck with the guys and voted for Thunder D, who was sent packing. Thunder D was pissed that he didn’t get to play more, but danced out of tribal ready to eat some good food.
