PREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: Tim, Apolo, and Michael were shocked at the decision from the rest of the tribe to vote out Danica, as they truly saw Kareem as the weakest person. Tim talked to Serena, who said that they had to get out the troublemakers, and she was willing to move forward working with them as a unit, and Kareem and Jerry would probably be next to go. Jerry told Kareem that he needed to really push hard in the next challenge, otherwise they’d lose a third time and Kareem would probably be on the chopping block. Kareem knew he was older, but wanted to give it everything he had. Meanwhile, at the Actors tribe, Corbin and Zendaya were getting extra close, and seemed like an inseparable alliance. Dylan got worried of this, and talked to Jack about teaming up with a few people to try to split up the duo. Jack said how Corbin was a necessity in challenges, and Zendaya was pretty good in challenges as well. Dylan thought that Zendaya wasn’t as valuable as Corbin either, and that while Whoopi and Mandy were the two weaker players, they would be valuable numbers further down the line. At the challenge, the Actors felt good having won two challenges in a row. In this challenge, the teams had to work together in a relay race style obstacle course. The Actors, having sat out Mandy and Whoopi, couldn’t get their act together and fell behind early. Kareem pushed hard and helped lead his team by hoisting teammates over obstacles. The Athletes won easily and were proud of their first win. Back at camp, the Actors seemed defeated, but Corbin pulled Dylan aside and said that Whoopi was definitely the weakest one on the tribe. Dylan nodded along, but had plans of his own, pulling in Whoopi and Mandy to tell them that they wanted to split up Zendaya and Corbin. Whoopi liked Zendaya and Corbin, but knew that her game was on the line. Dylan had Mandy talk to Bill and Jodie and told Whoopi to talk to Kate and Hilarie. Jodie was hesitant, thinking that Dylan was stirring the pot. Jodie talked to Bill about it, and Bill said that right now, the best thing was to let Dylan take all the heat for a big move, and to lay low themselves. Kate and Hilarie weren’t as hesitant, and felt like they should seize the opportunity, but wanted something a little more solid, so they approached Dylan and Jack about solidifying an alliance. Dylan and Jack gladly accepted, seeing Kate and Hilarie as the most chill people in the game. Zendaya wasn’t getting much game talk from anyone, and asked Corbin if she was okay. Corbin said that the whole tribe seemed on board to get out Whoopi. Zendaya revealed to Corbin that she had an only vote that she could only use at the first tribal they attended (which would be tonight). Corbin said that it wasn’t worth it to put the target on her back this early, and Zendaya said that she trusted him. At tribal, Whoopi spoke her concerns that she was the older one on the tribe and had the least physical attribute to the tribe. Mandy tried defending her, telling everyone that the challenges with puzzles were easy for them, and the physical part is where the Actors lost. Corbin defended this, saying that lots of people can do puzzles, and that they needed to unfortunately keep the tribe as strong as possible, eluding that he was voting for Whoopi. Whoopi understood and said that she loved her whole tribe regardless of what would happen. The tribe voted, and Zendaya looked at Corbin one last time, in which Corbin shook his head to signal “no.” Zendaya trusted this, and was relieved to see the first two votes for Whoopi. However, her and Corbin’s mouths dropped open when the next votes were for Zendaya. By the 5th vote for Zendaya, Zendaya’s head was in her lap. Devastated, the final vote was read, and Zendaya was sent packing by the entirety of her tribe except for Corbin. Corbin was shocked and baffled, staring at the rest of his tribe. “You just voted off one of the strongest physical players guys,” he muttered. Everyone felt bad, but knew it was the game at hand, and even Jodie who doubted the move early on, accepted that this is how she needed to play. Dylan smirked, knowing he had turned the whole tribe to be on his side.
