- the forced final 4 firemaking which is totally unnecessary and arbitrarily screws people that would have made FTC otherwise for no real reason at all
- eleventy hundred idols and advantages every episode
- the JURY DISCUSSION FORMAT (which I think gives jurors too much time to push their own personal agendas rather than let the finalists make their own case).
- the ongoing emphasis on “building a jury resume” which totally negates relationship management and tries to make the mentality “who made the flashiest moves and had the most alliances” as if who deserves to win is something that’s standardized and quantifiable every season
- why the fuck are they merging at 13 now? What is wrong with a nice 9-person jury and final 3? I don’t get why CBS makes the pre-merges so short or feels the need to always go from 2 tribes to 3 now EVERY SEASON — what’s wrong with keeping original tribes together for more than 2 episodes?
