Oh bollocks, has this day arrived? Well, it’s now been 10 years since I joined Tengaged on August 27, 2008. In that time I’ve seen this website change drastically in many ways, both good and bad.
Honestly this website has a generally vile community these days. Luckily for the most part, the people I’ve met and talked to during my time off and on Tengaged have not been as bad as some of the worst I’ve seen this site offer. But I remember the earlier days when everyone was just really excited to be part of the site and had a laugh playing fun games together. It’s a real different vibe from when I first joined, and I’m sure any other long-term Tengager will likely agree with me.
As I have stated though, I have managed to stay away from a lot of negativity by keeping myself within the world of my own group games. When Randomize first introduced group games I was really excited to create and host my own one, and it look my a little while to get something up and running after a few failed attempts, but I eventually got a series of the ground with my Survivor series, starting with my Amazon season in 2011.
I have fond memories of my debut season, of which some players are still around even today, such as jflora18, subfriend, Hudspith, the first ever winner jhelsdon2478, and of course I can’t forget everyone’s favorite Stoner, Gaiaphagee, with whom our love-hate relationship continues to this day. (EDIT: Oh my god BENLINUS is back on the site!) The Suitman’s Survivor series continued through two generations and 65 seasons, defining more than half of my time on Tengaged, until it’s conclusion in August of last year. Now I host Suitman’s Big Brother, alongside my multi-format ’Flop Nation’ series.
I’m not the most perfect host on this planet as most people know, but I like to think that the majority of people that play my games enjoy them and appreciate the time and effort I put into them. It’s basically why I’m on the site these days and I thankful for all the people who have taken the time to participate.
There are too many people to thank for being my friends over the last 10 years so, I’m sorry but I won’t go into that now. We’ll cross that bridge when I leave this site, if that day ever comes. But in general, thank you all for welcoming me and entertaining my washed-up group games for 10 years. Next stop: Suitman Total Season Number 100!

Tonight in ‘celebration’ I will just be doing a random BRANTSTEELE night on Skype. If you want to take part just add me on Skype suitman13, and then I’ll make a blog on here to ask who wants to get involved. I’ll put everyone (or their choice of character) into a brantsteele, and go though the results with live text commentary.
I used to do this with some close friends, and it was quite a laugh with the messy results the brantsteele tended to spit out, so this will be a bit of an experiment. I’ll start around 4:30-5pm EST and if it’s popular I may do more than one tonight. Just keep an eye out for my blog.
This website would be NOTHING without you. You are a legend and brought so much creativity to group games. So many people have taken your ideas and made them their own. YOU ARE A PIONEER! THANK YOU FLOPMAN FOR EXISTING!! And happy 1 uear anniversary of me beating obscurity and splozojames50 in FTC if the FINAL season!
As someone who joined in early 2010, I can understand where you're coming from with the current toxicity of the site. However, I think part of it is just that we are older. When I look back at when I first joined, it's easy to remember the good times, but the bad times were baaaaaaaad. Don't get me wrong, the atmosphere is definitely different and I enjoy it much less. I also think the involvement of Carlos has severely damaged the site pretty much beyond repair.
