Putin is a great leader. Don't fall for all of the propaganda we get here in the US. It would not surprise me if the US launched the chemical attacks to blame Assad and have a reason to invade, sorta like 911.

putin's ambitions are to directly undermine all US efforts in the middle east and US relations with Europe so he can fuck himself, it's not propaganda that he is super anti US, not denying he's a great leader considering he brought russia back from the collapse of the soviet union in an unforeseen resurgence but his tactics are based on attacking the west
and regarding syria my point is that i don't think the US has much of an interest left in syria considering ISIS has been vanquished and syria has no oil or any strategic geographical importance for the US and it's just draining our resources and making us look bad to other middle eastern countries
Steel where is the proof that Assad is the one gassing his people? I'm not saying he is a good person but there is 0 evidence that he is the one doing it. The US and our allies bombed Syria the day before the non-partisan commission was going to start their review to determine who was at fault.. yet we bombed them before a single piece of data was collected.
Putin isn't anti-American. He is pro-Russian, which is kind of his job and what makes him great. He doesn't cower at the mention of the USA like most world leaders do. The whole (latest) riff between Russia and the US began when AMERICA broke international law by developing anti-missile defense systems.
These attacks aren't about Syria at all, which is heart-breaking because their civilians have bombs coming at them from 10 different ways. The bombings are a proxy against Russia, who supports Syria and it undermines US dominance in the region. History is written by the victors, which is why you think we are the superheroes of the world, but even our founding fathers committed genocide to obtain this land. Our country has been killing since it's inception and at every point in time since. Power and profit at any cost is our MO.
