Announcer: Previosly on Big Brother, 16 houseguests entered the house with the $500,000 goal in mind. An early alliance was formed between Nate and Darrell leaving Laura suspicious. During the introductions people did not believe that Andrew was just a stay at home dad while hiding the fact he is a former marine. At the HOH competition Andrew struck a deal with John of safety and an alliance to let Andrew be HOH. So Andrew became the first HOH of the summer. Andrew (DR): I won the first HOH, and I couldn't be more excited
John (DR): I'm happy Andrew won HOH and he seems like a trustworthy ally soI'm feeling good so far
*Laura, Mellissa and Julie are hanging out in the bathroom*
Laura (DR): I have gotten really close with Mellissa and Julie so far so now I think it's time to form an alliance
Laura *whispers*: When I came into the house, Nate and Darrell were talking for a really long time
Mellissa *whispers*: You think they are allied
Laura *whispers*: Absolutely what else could they have been talking about
Julie (DR): Hearing that Darrell and Nate are all ready talking strategy makes me feel uncomfortable and that I am all raedy behind in this game
Julie *whispers*: What would you guys think of us 3 forming an alliance
Laura *whispers*: That's a great idea I was just thinking the same thing
Mellissa *whispers*: I am in
Mellissa (DR): I defenitely trust Julie and Laura, and I think that we can go far with each other
Laura *whispers*: This is going to be good
Andrew (comes out of DR): Who wants to see my HOH room
*everybody excitedly goes upstairs into HOH room*
*HOH room has his favorite food an pictures of him*
Andrew: Ya this is awesome
Andrew (DR): I am very glad they didn't put any pictures of me from after I served in the marines in order for me to keep this a secret and I am glad I get to see my kids
Christina: Your kids are so cute
Matthew: Read your letter
*Andrew reads letter from his wife*
Matthew *wipes tears off*: So sweet
*everybody leaves HOH room except for Darrell*
Darrell (DR): I wanted to stay behind and talk to Darrell about possibly working together
Darrell: Hey congrats man, where's your head at
Andrew: I really don't know yet it's really early
Darrell: I wanted to see if you would like to work together and maybe get Zach with us so we can have 3 of the strongest players in one alliance
Andrew (DR): So Darrell brings up this idea of an alliance and I am all for it because that can keep me safe for a while with 2 other really strong players
Andrew: Absolutely let's talk ot Zach about it
*Darrell goes and gets Zach*
Andrew: Ok so how would you like to be in an alliance with me and Darrell, so we can have the 3 of the strongest players in one alliance
Zach (DR): All of a sudden I get pulled into the HOH room and offered an alliance with Darrell and Andrew, that can be great for my game
Zach: Absolutely that sounds like a great idea
Darrell: All right let's get us to the final 3
*Kate is in the kitchen with Roy and Janet*
Roy: What do you guys want for dinner
Kate: I need my calimary and lobster
Janet: I doubt we can make that here
Kate: Why don't you mind your own business tattoo girl
Janet: Excuse me, you have no idea who you are talking to
Roy (DR): So I just offer to make dinner and all of a sudden Kate and Janet start fighting that can make themselves targets
Roy: Ok girls settle down
*Kate leaves*
Janet *whispers*: She is insane she is not used to this
Roy *whispers*: She just wants her way all the time
Janet *whispers*: She better go on the block she's so cocky and bitchy
Roy *whispers*: What do you say, you and I work together, maybe get Matthew in on this and talk to Andrew about putting her up
Janet (DR): I would love to work with Roy and Matthew they are both smart and good palyers
Janet *whispers*: I'lll talk to Matthew about this alliance and you talk to Andrew about nominating Kate
Roy *whispers*: All right girl
*Roy knocks on HOH room and enters*
Andrew: Hey Roy what's up
Roy: I just wanted to see where your head is at for nominations
Andrew: I have no idea
Roy (DR): Time to bring Kate up
Roy: Well Kate is annoying everyone and she just started a fight with Janet doewnstairs
Andrew: She has been nothing but trouble since she got here
Roy: Maybe put her up and someone else as a pawn
Andrew: I'll defenitely consider that
Andrew (DR): Kate is defenitley a safe bet for a nominee this week because everyone does not like her and she has been starting drama all summer
*Matthew and Janet in bedroom*
Janet *whispers*: So I was talking with Roy and he and I think it would be a good idea for me him and u to work together
Matthew (DR): Janet brings up the idea of an alliance and I defenitely think that would be a good idea
Matthew *whispers*: Absolutely, that can defenitely work
*Laura gos to HOH room and knocks*
Laura (DR): I decided to tell Andrew about the possible Nate and Darrell alliance and see if he would put either of them up
Andrew: Hey Laura
Laura: I saw Nate and Darrell talking for a while when we first got here and I think thye may be working together
Andrew (DR): Knowing that Darrell may be working with Nate is making me a little suspicious but not enough to put him up yet but Laura could be a possible target
Andrew: Man that's crazy right when they met too
Laura: Just an idea
Laura (DR): I think bringing that up to Andrew was a good idea and he may consider it
*Andrew is with Darrell*
Andrew *whispers*: Laura came up to me and told me that you may be working with Nate is that true
Darrell (DR): When I hear that I am annoyed I don't understand why she would tell Andrew that
Darrell: No man, why would she tell you that, she's trying to start stuff all ready
Andrew (DR): I don't know which one of them to trust so maybe thye can go on the block
Andrew: Ok just curious
*Nomination Day*
*Andrew puts keys into box while houseguests wait in backyard*
Andrew (DR): These nominations are not personal I just want to do what can get the least blood on my hands and make the house happy
Kate (DR): There's no way I'll be nominated, I am the queen and everyone but Janet likes me
Janet (DR): I hope Andrew nominates Kate she has not been any fun living with
Darrell (DR): Laura is playing hard all ready it might be good to put her up
Laura (DR): I know for a fact that Darrell and Nate are working together so I'd like one of them to go up, but as long as no one in my alliance is nomianted I am happy
*Andrew opens screen door*
Andrew: Hey guys it's time for the nomination ceremony
*everyone sits at kitchen table*
Andrew: This is the nomination ceremony, one of my duties as Head of Household is to nominate 2 people for eviction, I will pull the first key that person is safe, they wil then pull the next key and so on and so forth....... *pulls key* John you are safe
John: *nods head* *pulls key*: Roy you are safe

Kate (DR): I can't believe I am on the block and that he said people are annoyed by me taht is totally false
Carl (DR): I am completlty suprised and shocked by my nomiination

Andrew: I know you are likeable so I put you up as a pawn
Carl (DR): Knowing I am the pawn is good but pawns go home and Andrew could have told me I would be the pawn

Andrew (DR): i wanted to nominate a guy and a girl to avoid any blood and Carl is the pawn but I don't think he's taking it well
Carl (DR): If I stay I am coming for Andrew because I really don't know if I am actually the pawn

Nate: I didnt expect that
Nate (DR): I am suprised Carl was nominated I like him and think he woul be a good ally
Carl: Andrew says I am the pawn but I don't know about that
Nate: I like you and want to work with you so if i get veto I'll try and save you
Carl: This could be agood alliance and if one of us wins HOH we go after Andrew
Nate: Absolutely

Andrew (DR): I really hope Darrell, Zach, or John get selected to pay in the veto because I know they would keep my nominees the same
Carl (DR): The only person I know who would use the veto on me is Nate, so I hope he gets picked

Matthew: This competition is called "CardSharks" and here is how it works each player will be dealt a hand like Blackjack the goal is to get the closest to 21. You will teh decide whether to hit or stay. If you go over you are eliminate from the round. The person closest to 21 at the end of the round, without going over gets a point. If you get exactly 21 the round is over an dyou automatically get a point. First person to 2 points will win the Golden Power of Veto. Andrew: I don't think i will use it because Carl does not trust me and may go after me and Kate is unliked so this is a win win for me
Darrell: Lara has been playing hard latey would you consider backdooring her
Andrew: I think it is too early for a backdoor plan
Andrew (DR): The fact that Darrell would bring that up becausse of her suspecting an alliance makes me believe he is working with Nate and I may not be able to trust him once the game moves along

Kate: If you you use the veto on me I will be very grateful, and if you don't you won't be happy with what happens next week

Carl (DR): I've been told I am a pawn but I am still not sure, so I need to ensure my safety this week
