Ok so I was curious to see the value of purchasing the new color levels. So in my mind, I wanted to see how many times I would have to bet as a Super Gold Level to surpass the amount of Ts I would have if I never bought it and continued to bet as a TV Star.
So, I did a calculation in Excel comparing the following information:
TV Star starting balance was determined by cost of purchasing Super Gold + the max amount for 1 bid to double as a Super Gold = 1500 + 32 = 1532.
Super Gold Starting Balance was just the max amount for 1 bid to be doubled, aka you could bid a max of 32 to have it be doubled to 64.
And so each row under is basically the TV star balance + 60Ts (to equal 1 doubled bet) while the Super Gold is the running balance + 64 (doubled bet)
And then I had to find the breakeven point / the point where the Super Gold would equal or surpass TV star... Which comes:
After 375 bets. SO, you would have to have 376 bets DOUBLED in order to make more money as a Super Gold than you would if you stayed TV Star.
Then I did the same thing with Platinum (after purchasing Super Gold).
TV Star Starting = 1500Ts(Super Gold cost) + 2000Ts (Plat cost)+ 34Ts(Plat bid) = 3534
Platinum Starting = 34 (max bid for 1 bet)
So TV star balance goes up by 60 each bid (30x2) and Platinum goes up 68 (34x2_
And in order for Platinum to make it's money back, you will have to double 438 bets:
So leveling up will pay for itself in bets, it will require a LOT of charities...
I still support them, I just wanted to look at them from a breakeven analysis viewpoint!!!
