What is your IDEAL group of people to be in for an in-person social interaction?

Personally, my favorite number is 3 people (including myself). That way it鈥檚 easier to bounce between 3 people, there isn鈥檛 too many people talking at once and it isn鈥檛 as intimate/awkward as 1 on 1.

4 isn鈥檛 a bad number but if 2 ppl start taking you鈥檙e basically forced to talk to the other person.

It may be my social ~anxiety~ but I鈥檝e actually thought about this a lot

my friend group has always been about 6-8 people together at once but i find that overwhelming sometimes

2. 100% 2. Even at parties ill usually just talk to one person at a time, and make my way around the place. One on one is the only way to truly get to know someone, and you can have better conversations one on one. Usually more meaningful.

3 is cool, 4 is fine, 5 gets annoying. Any more than 5 and I start to just observe instead of speak, its too many people fighting to speak at once and I dont have the energy for that.
