SPEECH:
Coming into this game, I had no idea what to expect and just wanted to make it as far as I could. Seeing that there were over 100 people playing, I knew the chances were slim. From Day 1, Bryce, Daniel, and I had a F3 where we would share information and decide on what to do together. There were secret trios in the game as a twist, but the real secret trio was the three of us as nobody really suspected us all working together closely.
From the beginning to the middle of the game, I tried my best to protect people who would be loyal to me so that towards the end I would be surrounded with people who would take me far. When the numbers were still large, I would try my best to protect certain people, but as the numbers dwindled down, I was only watching out for myself and who I wanted to take to the end.
I was never truly in danger of going home until Day 83. Evan knew I was well protected in the game and tried to take me out. However, it was too late as I was still in a good position.
JURY QUESTIONS:
1. What differentiates you & your gameplay from the other 2 finalists? What makes you stand out as the true winner?
Unlike the 2 sitting next to me, I’ve never played 100 Days before. I wanted to play the game how I would any other game. I wanted to lay low in the beginning and not become a target as it is very hard to manage 100+ people voting. We all saw big threats get targeted early. Whenever I would have conversations I would try to uptalk people and make them seem like a larger target to others. I think I should be voted the ultimate winner as I was more calculated in how I was voting every week.
2. What was the biggest move that you pulled off? In other words, what is one event that you performed that proves you deserve to win?
My biggest move was flipping over and over between the two sides without ever really getting any backlash that would end my game. Some people saw I was doing soI was not trusted by them but I was still able to reach the end. My strategy at first was to pick off people that I didn’t think would be loyal to me. And then when numbers got down, I wanted to pick off the close allies of my allies so that their loyalties would go towards me and not to others.
3. How did you use the trios twist to your advantage. If you did not use it to your advantage, why not?
The trios twist is what actually made me start playing harder. The moment someone in my trio became a target, I started pushing for names to try and protect them. Unfortunately, I was not able to bring them both to Day 50, but I was able to build trust with more people and become a part of a new side that was formed while I was trying to flip the early votes. This was able to propel me further while I could being laying low again.
4. Who do you feel was your biggest asset/helper in this game, and who was your biggest enemy/obstacle during the course of this game? How did you navigate those relationships?
My biggest asset was that I was able to sit comfortably within many alliances. Temponeptune was my biggest asset in this game. He had connections that I did not come in with and was able to gather intel for me. My biggest “obstacle” was Evan. I knew he had deals with people who I was working with and he could tell that I was well protected and tried to get me out, but in the end I was able to prevail.
