when taylor swift released 1989 because that album really is just top to bottom quality. it was grown up, it was well written, it was musically sound. and it has simply been downhill from there. maybe a small tiny uptick with these sad girl albums she just put out but its not hard to be better than the cringe that was lover/reputation
i'll give her credit for ONE THING... she's put out 4 studio albums since lorde has released her last one. good for her.
