Back in San Juan Del Sur, Val Collins was, like J'Tia, many peoples' pick to win.
However, she was voted out second because she was a really bad liar.
Even John Rocker, the world-hated baseball player, felt duped.
What if I told you, to an extent, she actually won?
Not that season, of course.
She won Cambodia.
Her husband, Jeremy, was a returning contestant.
He used the story of the pregnant Val and his other kids to his advantage.
He won 10-0.
Now Val's got a cut of that Sole Survivor money.
And she never even made it past 19th (actually 17th - thanks for pointing that out Eoin) place.
So, remember Val?
I do.
Okay but she didn't win? Just because her husband wins doesn't mean she won. That's like saying "Remember Sandra's husband. He never played but his wife won twice and he got a cut out of that Sole Survivor money"
