1) It is CBS' top rated show in the summer and has even been beating America's Got Talent recently in the ratings. In recent years they have extended the show's length to 14 weeks and added on a Celebrity edition - they must be pretty happy.
2) They are really pushing CBS All Access which tbh has hardly any content, they want people signing up to it for live feeds and hopefully staying on all year.
This show can go on even if Julie does quit or get forced out.
