but read this paragraph and tell me this doesnt sound like the best shit ever: And psychedelics are very much agents of change. They can show you your shadow self, dragging your insecurities and internal conflicts into the light for examination. They mediate a conversation, even a partnership, with the subconscious, unseating your deepest assumptions and leading you to question the most rigid habits and biases. Psychedelics are molecular battering rams, crumbling the castle called Ego, often raising from the rubble a profound feeling of pure love and unity.
zakisaboss oh no, i know that, my roommates have described it in detail. i'd need a trip sitter because my mind is always negative, if I thought about just ONE small thing that gives me anxiety, it could bring on a spiral of panic. But it helps you work through shit and I really do want that experience
also we were talking last night and i think mushrooms might be the best and safest way to go since i dont (think?) you can OD on mushrooms but idk
If your mind is always negative then psychedelics may not be for you. You would want to do them when you're in the right mind state. Research "set and setting" it's vastly important. I do encourage everybody to try psychedelics at least once but a bad first trip could have really damaging effects.
If you feel like you're an anxious person then shrooms would definitely be a good choice in psychedelics since they're more sedative than stimulating. You actually can't overdose on any of the traditional psychedelics. LSD and mushrooms and DMT all have a safety profile right on par with THC.
It's a life changing experience. Hope you get to try them!
zakisaboss yeah and days where i feel fantastic are rare now-a-days which is why I didn't try them yet. oh shit i just read what you said about shrooms and anxiety that sounds perfect
and yeah, I like downers. Uppers just aren't fun for me. I like to use them to get out of my head but really just to feel numb from my own self, as sad as that is
shayybayy Shrooms would definitely be your best bet then. Take care of yourself. Shrooms could help you fix your relationship with those downers. If you're addicted or abuse them shrooms would give you a great unique perspective.
For your anxiety you could consider microdosing shrooms occasionally (like 1/20th of a normal dose) its clinically proven to help treat anxiety and depression at those doses. You wouldnt get high and your change in perception would be ever sl subtle. Could be a good way to combat your anxiety and get accustomed to shrooms all at the same time.
Best of luck, always research anything you take :)
