*The tributes' hovercraft land, Peacekeepers quickly unloading them. It's been a particularly long flight, since being registered as being the 2nd longest hovercraft flight in the history of the games. For the tributes, it felt even longer. Tributes are soon hurried into rooms where either their mentor or stylist are waiting*
Chryssie: Um...what is this?
*Chryssie looks at the tribute outfit in disgust. It's a black wetsuit, made of a material not seen in any of the districts apart from 4*
District 7 Stylist: It's a wetsuit love, put it on
*Many other tributes have this same conversation, with many being confused about the one piece of clothing they are given. It's a long hour before each tribute is finally in their tube...and then, the games begin*
----------THE BLOODBATH----------
*The tributes are blinded by the sun as their tubes arrive at the top of the elevator, many instantly shielding their eyes. Next was the sheer heat, their wetsuits certainly not helping in keeping them cool, many tributes starting to sweat immediately*

*Rachel's eyes adjust as she looks around the cornucopia. In horror, she realizes she's surrounded by white sand, a perfectly clear sea stretching out beyond the cornucopia. Four heavily treed islands lay in a circle around the cornucopia, but there seems to be no way between them other than to swim*

*Amber immediately begins to tie back her hair with the pin the girls were given shortly before the games. She is wedged between the District 4 tributes, who seem particularly excited for this arena*

*The District 10 tributes seem horrified at the water surrounding them, as do the District 12 tributes. Neither of these Districts has any major bodies of water in them*

*The sweat is visibly seen rolling down Glenn's cheeks as he searches for Paris, who is on the far left of the cornucopia*
5...4...3...
*Hydra motions to Alberto to get ready to run into the cornucopia. He doesn't seem to see him, eyes locked on Ashlynn from 1 who's staring straight ahead*
2...1...GOOOOOONNNNGGGGG
*A mess of black wetsuits run forward, the only tributes running away from the cornucopia being Sadhbh, Lucy, and Diego, the latter two swimming to the East, meanwhile Sadhbh swims to the west*

*First to the cornucopia are Finn and Rachel, who quickly took back at the incoming tributes. Ashlynn arrives right after, giving a nod to the 2's, as Rowjone enters fourth. The four careers immediately line up, each holding a weapon of choice, and guarding access into the cornucopia, where the best supplies are. Rachel lines up a throwing knife shot at Treeko from 7. She throws it, the knife lodging into unsuspecting Treeko's brain*
BOOM!
*Anaconda looks for a way to sneak past the careers, eventually spotting an opening at the back the four at the front seem not to have realized. She runs around to the back, however, Glenn and Paris from 6 are already there before her, having grabbed weapons. Anaconda screams, splashing out into the sea behind her, however, Glenn is fast in throwing a spear, the spear impaling Anaconda straight through the heart*
BOOM!
*Jay grabs Amber, who seems to want to go grab a loaf of bread, however, Jay screams something at her which makes Amber's face change. Reluctantly, she and Jay run out into the water, slowly swimming to the South island*
BOOM!
*Hydra screams as she watches Alberto ran a knife into Reef's stomach. Alberto quickly runs back to Hydra, his hands covered in blood as Hydra flees from her own district partner. Alberto sighs, knowing that going after her quickly would only scare her more*

*Chloe slowly stares at the water in front of her, remembering the previous year's games where the water had been infected. She slowly convinces herself to start wading into the water, however, a large tribute grabs her from behind, wrapping their arm around her face. Viewers can see that it's Finn from 2. Before she can even scream, Finn snaps her neck*
BOOM!
*Oprah screams as he notices Rowjone running after him towards the water. Oprah dives in, gliding through the water like a seal. Rowjone groans, before jumping in after him. Despite Oprah being better trained, Rowjone was larger and faster with much bigger strokes. Rowjone suddenly grabbed Oprah's leg, Oprah immediately thrashing to escape. Rowjone gets on top of Oprah, pushing him under the water until a cannon sounds*
BOOM!
*Lindsey watches with horror as Glenn bashes Josh's head against the wall. As Josh makes contact with the cornucopia a fourth time, Lindsey flees, insults being thrown by Josh, however, they soon cease*
BOOM!
*Glenn turns, Lindsey already in the ocean. He quickly notices Hoop grabbing a plastic container of bread. Glenn charges at him, Hoop screaming as he turns to run, but isn't fast enough as Glenn knocks Hoop to the floor, quickly slamming Hoop's head hard into the same and holding it there until he suffocates*
BOOM!
*Eoin is the last non-career tribute to flee, two large backpacks on his back as he slowly swims to the Souther island, however, the careers don't notice, Eoin sliding off safely. Unbenousty to everyone, Chryssie is on top of the cornucopia, listening down on the carnage*

*As the six careers look at the supplies they have, Paris noticeable uneasy among the group, they talk, discussing potential tribute locations*
Rowjone: The good news is that the 4's are dead
*Finn and Rachel seem to lock eyes as they stand by Rowjone, who's taking the lead on cataloging the supplies. Finn's eyes rest of a spear lying just in front of him, the other one lying just by Rachel. In a split second, the pair both grab a spear. Paris, Glenn, and Ashlynn jump into action, Ashlynn sprinting and Rachel with a knife as Finn throws the spear through Rowjone's head. At that moment, Ashlynn drives the knife into Rachel's throat, quickly running off into the North. At the same time, the tributes from 6 flee to the west*
BOOM!
BOOM!
*Finn screams with fury as Rachel collapses to the floor, dead. He grabs his spear from Rowjone's corpse and looks out to where Ashlynn fled, however, she's already too far away. Finn suddenly breaks down on the floor, crying at the side of Rachel's body, as Chryssie listens in, shocked at a career actually crying in the Hunger Games*

*The tributes seem to keep their distance for the rest of the day, mainly setting up camps. At one point, Eoin almost walked straight into Lindsey's camp, but ultimately decided he was happy with what he had and returned to his camp before either Lindsey or Eoin saw each other. The wetsuits certainly didn't help anyone with the heat, many removing them once they were sure they got to safety, however, as night fell, many put them back on, worried of what the night could bring*

Ok, for starters, RIP Treeko, Anaconda, Orpah, Hoop, Josh and Rachel in particular. I was rooting for all 6 of you to go deep. Reef, Chloe and Rowjone also left us way too soon. I am PARTICULARLY disappointed with the 4's deaths though, this was literally their perfect arena and they both died in the bloodbath! Still, there's still a lot of people out there that I'm rooting for that I will not name until they are dead :D
15 remain. Remember, we have an assassin among us, and if that person kills three of their acquired targets, then they escape the arena alive. This assassin won't be revealed, but a clue will be presented in each episode, until they either fail their mission and therefore die, or win their third mission on Day 4 and escape the arena
