First of all, thank you to everyone for sending in! This is the first week that everyone's sent. Toast that hopefully there are many more like this one!
As always, we'll start with the Redemption peeps...
TurkeyLover - This is a funky tune, and certainly serves its purpose! This kind of bops ngl, and in terms of TV intros- it's strong!
CruelSummer - This is really pretty and makes me feel almost nostalgic (Idk why I've watched one Anime in my life and it's not Naruto) but still, it makes me nostalgic for some reason, and I really enjoyed this. It'll be close to call!
Ilysuiteheart - *Standing Ovation* You did it. This is my second favourite TV theme of all time. This is actually what I had in mind when I made this theme. I honestly want to let you back into this game right now, but I can't. If you keep this up, you'll have a ticket straight back into this game!
This means it's between #CruelSummer and #TurkeyLover. I want to say that this wasn't an easy decision- I want both of you to go through, but I've made my choice
Turkey, this was the closest Redemption match yet. I really wanted you to get far in this game, but it just didn't work out. I feel like sending WHATEVER THE HELL THAT WAS in week 3 just knocked you off balance. I hope to see you play again soon
Jameslu - Iconic and memorable, who can forget this? This is still honestly a bop to look back on, definitely something I'd genuinely add to my actual playlist
Absol - Queen, you've done so much right but this just wasn't it. This is my envisionment of a nightmare. I have a loathing for Disney channel, and when I hear this kind of music I want to stab people :/
Salmaan - Solid song, I just don't find it particularly memorable myself. It serves its function of being an intro song really well, but I don't really have a desire to listen to it on it's own
3pi14159 - Oof. You can attack me now, but I've never been a big fan of spongebob- I find the whole thing annoying :( I'm afraid this song wasn't an exception to that
Chris2pei - *Standing Ovation* And you just slammed this out the park AGAIN. Survivor music is soooo good, and you picked my favourite version of it! I'm not afraid to admit that this song was in my personal charts for almost two years...until I stopped making them in 2018, but still!
Black_Wave - This was quite relaxing honestly. I could just close my eyes and listen to this not even knowing it was from a TV show. That being said, I just don't find it very memorable, and this is competing with some TV legends today
MatchMaker - No comment. This was horrible. My ears bled out. Enough said
Chels052_ - There have been three classes today- the exceptional, the alright, and the awful. This slots somewhere between alright, and awful. It's memorable as a tune and funky, but the rap isn't really working for me. Still, you should be safe!
#Absol and #MatchMaker, you two are the bottom two for this week. I'm afraid neither of your songs hit this week, and for one of you, it was your fatal move
#MatchMaker, I'm so sorry, but this was just a complete miss for me this week. You've been really fun to match this season. A technicality robbed you in Week 2 (Sorry about that, still) and after that you stayed quite consistent. I'm afraid this week just didn't work, but good luck on Redemption, I think you have a good shot!
