Kourtney easily has the best odds to win this year. She's 18, from District 1, and is basically the perfect career, one of the strongest the games have ever seen, with many comparing her to former career victors, such as Gloss, Cashmere, Brutus, and Enobaria. It's believed that in the academy, even the sight of her makes the greatest tribute whimper. When she volunteered for District 1, many potential tributes instantly backed down, not wanting to face her, leaving her against three other girls. Because of a lack of tributes, the System followed the likes of their District 6 counterparts, and instead of holding a full System, put it up to public vote, which Kourtney won pretty much unanimously
District 1 Male: James

The other District 1 competitor, James, is one of the youngest the District has ever seen. The Male side of the System still had its regular amount of volunteers, meaning the full System was held. James didn't seem like such a threat, sliding through the competition in the middle of the pack, until the Paintball round, where James single-handedly eliminated all of his competitors. After twin duo, Gold and Silver were eliminated in this round, James easily beat his final competitors, and won the title of the tribute
District 2 Female: Lyme

Lyme (Also known as Lyme III) is the great grand-daughter of former Victor...Lyme. Ever since her victory, the name has run in the family, with Lyme's mother also being called Lyme. Lyme's mother tried out for the games but ultimately lost, which was considered a huge humiliation for a child of a victor. Determined to bring pride back to the family, Lyme entered the System as soon as her trainers deemed her ready. The fact she was a daughter of a Victor made her stand out, but she was also overlooked as a threat because of her mother's failure. Some of the judges also gave her a hard time, with Lyme barely squeaking through the earlier rounds. Once the judging stages were over, 20 tributes remained, and Lyme properly came into her element. She easily slid into the top 10, then top 6, and then the top 2. In the final fight, Lyme was up against the mayor's daughter, who had apparently been getting extra help, and was caught cheating multiple times. On the night before the fight, she approached Lyme and offered to pay her off to throw the fight. Lyme took the money but did not throw the fight, ultimately winning. Despite the girl complaining to the staff, bribery was considered illegal, and Lyme came off once again when the girl was banned from competing in future Systems because of this
District 2 Male: Raymond
Age: 13

Raymond was not somebody anyone expected to win, yet here he is. A lot of luck was believed to have come Raymond's way after he came back into the System three times due to a contestant's quit, and two people breaking their legs at different stages of the competition. He's believed to be one of the weaker careers this year, but that has fueled him to prove people wrong, and has been training very closely with Lyme, teaching each other their skills. Tne District 2 tributes have spaced themselves from the 1's and the 6's. It's looking like there might be two careers packs this year
Brea is a strong district 3 tribute. Her mother is ill with a brain tumor and has no chance of surviving with District 3's dodgy hospitals. Her father died a year ago, alone with her two sisters when they all caught Lyme disease. Brea is believed to be the unluckiest citizen of District 3, with her whole family dying close together, and then being reaped for the games on top of that
Zach is from the poorest part of District 3, where there isn't even a school. Because of this, Zach can't even work in the factories and is instead forced to work in the kitchens of...ironically a private school for the District's elite. Rumor has it that he and a girl that goes to that school named Twitch have kissed during a break time, followed by Twitch getting a bad case of Rabies...yikes
Calypso is from a small fishing village on the boundary of District 4. Her parents spent their life savings getting her into an academy, with the family going days without food. Because of this, Calypso doesn't want to let her family down. She's been in the System every year since she was 12, but failing to get through the auditions until she was 15. She placed 23rd that year, and 14th when she was 16. Because of her poor results, she has not been considered a threat and started with a mediocre edit on the non-live shows, but during the Obstacle course, excelled, managing to grab 1st. After that, she dominated every single round until she won, shocking many
District 4 Male: Leon
Age: 15

Another surprising winner for District 4, Leon stepped out of the shadows during the memory round, with his intense knowledge, and perfectly remembered an order of Fish-Themed playing cards. This is extra surprising, as he is only an average student in school, causing an investigation to if he was cheating taking place. He was found to be innocent and was allowed to continue, ultimately winning the System
Survivor is homeschooled by her parents, and barely knows anyone in her neighborhood, because she wasn't allowed to mix with other kids. they believed this would help her mental health, but it didn't. She often goes on screaming rampages all over town and was detained by peacekeepers when she attempted to stab a cat, an animal rare in District 5
District 5 Male: Gordon

Gordon is known to be popular among the older people in his town, often helping them cross the road. He's known to be popular in school as well, but ultimately, nobody volunteered for him
District 6 Female: Six
Age: 16
Sexuality: Six

Status: Six (Volunteer)
Six is obsessed with the number 6 for no reason. She also identifies as being "Six" but nobody knows what that really means. Six girls volunteered for District 6 this year, meaning it went down to a public vote for budget reasons. Six's quirky personality and humor ultimately won it for her, though her skills at being a career are questionable. We'll have to see what she brings
Cloy was meant to be called Clay, but it was misspelled on his birth certificate. Eight boys volunteered for District 6, which went into 3 rounds of public voting: The boys were split into two groups of four, two advanced from each, then the final 4 were against each other in the final. Clay only placed second in his semi-final, but his speech in the final was believed to be why he ultimately won. He spoke about injustice, rather than the sturdiness of new train models, which is what his competitors spoke about...we don't really know why
