*The UN board is about to start. Carlos talks with his assistant*
Carlos’s assistant: Sir, are you sure this is a good idea?
Carlos: Well, we have to try
Carlos’s assistant: It’s just that Iraq is convinced Thailand launched an attack on their government
Carlos: That’s why we need to settle this
Carlos’s assistant: But are you sure they won’t think you’ve just gone crazy?
Carlos: Not when I present the evidence
Carlos’s assistant: I just don’t know, sir
Carlos: It’s what needs to be done…I mean Trump is bound to make them listen
Carlos’s assistant: But everyone knows Trump is batshit crazy!
Carlos: But he is the most powerful here- and America has experienced the most damage!
Carlos’s assistant: Well, North Korea, The pope, and China haven’t even bothered to come. When they received your letter, they thought it was some kind of April fool’s joke!
Carlos: Remind me never to send a top-secret letter about aliens on April fool’s day again!
Carlos’s assistant: Noted, sir
*The meeting starts, and the world leaders all walk-in*
---------------------IN MEXICO----------------
*A young boy is walking his dog down the street when he notices a strange object. He gets closer to it, resting his hand on it. He tries to pull his hand back, but can’t. The item is expanding in size. Slowly, the boy gets more stuck in the object, until he is absorbed completely. Neighbors come outside, to see a giant black blob floating in the sky. She blob suddenly slams to the floor, breaking down into gloop. The gloop starts covering the ground, and then climbing up the walls of houses! The neighbors try to run, but are too slow, and let out their last breath before the tar encases them completely…
--------------THE UN MEETING------------
Jalal: So…let me get this strait *He looks at Carlos and Trump* you plan to get together a group of secret agents, convert a commercial airline into a home, and then send that team around the world to face these aliens?
Trump: Yes
*All of the world leaders but Carlos and Trump start laughing*
Jalal: That is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard!
*Trump looks at Jalal*
Trump: You realize last week, thousands of your people were killed after an unidentified object flew into the center of their town!
Jalal: Idiot, that wasn’t alien, that was Thailand!
*The Thai leader slowly shakes his head in disapproval*
Trump: And what makes you think that?
Jalal: Well…erm…
Trump: Is it because you just needed someone to blame?
Jalal: I-erm…
Carlos: ENOUGH, everyone is acting like monkeys. This is the most informal meeting I’ve ever attended!
Jalal: You do you…Don’t get us involved in your game!
Carlos: Fine then, we won’t! I deem this meeting canceled!
*Carlos leaves the meeting*
Carlos’s assistant: Well, I did warn you
Carlos: Don’t be a smart ass!
Carlos’s assistant: Well, if it helps, Japan has sent forward 500 million Euros to fund the project- and put forward their greatest tech wizard
Carlos: When was this?
Carlos’s assistant: Two weeks ago…I tried to tell you but you said they were just paying Spain back for the big loan they look, and just to allow it to go forward….
Carlos: I did?
Carlos’s assistant: You mean you didn’t?
Carlos: What date was it exactly?
Carlos’s assistant: April 3rd
Carlos: I was ill that day…Couldn’t leave my bed
Carlos’s assistant: But you were in your office…
------------2 MONTHS LATER----------
*Carlos’s assistant walks into his office*
Carlos’s assistant: Sir, they have arrived
Carlos: Take them to the meeting room
Carlos’s assistant: of course sir!
------------OUTSIDE THE BUILDING-----------
*Lizzie sees Amber for the first time, and waves her over*
Lizzie: Bitch, what are you wearing?
Amber: What do you mean?
*Lizzie is wearing a smart dress, meanwhile Amber is wearing a tank-top*
Lizzie: You look like a slut! We are meeting the fucking LEADER OF SPAIN
Amber: Never understood the point of formal dress!
Lizzie: They have dress codes!
Amber: And? If they want me on board, they shouldn’t care about what I dress like!
*Carlos’s assistant opens the door*
Carlos’s assistant: You knew the door was open right?
--------------IN THE CONFERENCE ROOM------------
*Carlos’s assistant shows Lizzie and Amber to their seats*
Carlos’s assistant: Mr. Vázquez will be with you shortly
*Carlos’s assistant leaves the room to see if anyone else has arrived. A woman is sat nearby, Lizzie and Amber. She leans over*
Lilly: Hey, I’m Lilly, nice to meet ya *She winks*
Amber: Do I know you?
Lilly: Do I know YOU is the bigger question?
Amber: What do you mean?
Lilly: You’re aware you’re the most famous private investigator in the world right?
Amber: Yeah, but only nerds recognize me
Lilly: You seriously don’t remember me?
Amber: No
*Lilly sighs* Lilly: You investigated my father’s murder. The police had given up. Green liquid was dripping out of his body. You diagnosed the killer as something not from this world!
Amber: Which case are you referring to exactly? B17, C44, Y22 all sound similar
Lilly: You don’t?
Amber: You weren’t the girl that asked to see my ti-
*Carlos’s assistant walks in with more people. They all sit down. Their names are written on a bronze plaque. Kiki Satamoto sits exactly opposite Lizzie, meanwhile, Johnny Berg sits across from Amber. Linda Parks, Alison White, and Alyssa Jade make up the other seats. Donald Trump walks into the room. Alyssa looks disgusted by the sight of him. Carlos then walks in and takes a seat at the head of the table*
Carlos: We all know why we’re here
*Everyone is silent*
Carlos: I’m assuming everyone’s read their brief?
*Everyone starts unpacking their brief from their bag*
Kiko: it took me exactly 23.45 minutes to read through!
Carlos: If anyone wants to laugh, do so now
*Nobody laughs*
Carlos: Good. If someone laughed then, they’d be banned from ever returning to Spain for the rest of their life!
Amber: Whoa!
*Carlos looks at Amber, clearly examining her outfit*
Carlos: Miss Rogers?
Amber: I mean, it seems a bit extreme!
*Carlos stares at her, expressionless, then smiles*
Carlos: Finally someone who isn’t so serious!
Amber: Guessing that’s good then?
*Carlos laughs a bit. As Carlos is laughing, Alison sees something move on the other end of the room*
Alison: Hey, what’s that?
*She points at a figure moving through the shadows. By the time everyone is looking, it’s gone!*
Carlos: At this rate, we’re never going to get anything done!
*Carlos explains everything (I’m not going to write the whole meeting because it’s only the plot, and 1. Nobody wants to read that much when we already know everything, and 2. I’m feeling lazy LOL- Sorry)
*The meeting plays in a montage*
Carlos: And that concludes everything! We start tomorrow!
Johnny: TOMORROW?
Carlos: You’re right. I’d have liked to start earlier, but flying everyone in was a bit difficult!
Johnny: Is there wifi at least?
Carlos: Yes
Johnny: Thank you heavens, I didn’t want to have to tell SeaViper my comments for Singing Sensation would be late again!
Alison: Who’s SeaViper?
Johnny: Nobody!
Carlos: I’ll see you at Barcelona airport bright and early at 5 AM tomorrow!
Alyssa: I’m not even going to bother to protest!
Carlos: Good, because I’m out of energy! Our taxi drivers will take you to your rooms!
-------------THE NEXT DAY- AT THE AIRPORT----------
*The taxi driver and Amber go charging through the airport. It’s 4:58, and they need to be there urgently. They dive over security. None of the guards stop them, as they know they’ve been given special clearance*
Grumpy old man: Hey, why do they get to skip security?!
*The taxi driver and Amber get to the private airstrip at 5 AM and 2 seconds*
Kiko: 2 seconds late!
*Alyssa comes in moments later*
Alyssa: Thank god, I’m not last!
*Shockingly, Carlos is last to arrive*
Carlos: I hate waiting, so I figured being late would mean I didn’t have to wait for you as long…but I was wrong. Good to see everyone up!
Johnny: So where’s the plane?
*As soon as Johnny says that, a huge plane comes hurtling down the runway. Once it stops, airport workers get stairs and start loading on the bags. The pilots come down the stairs*
John: Sorry about that, we were just doing a quick practice circle!
*Kim suddenly gets a ring from her earpiece*
Kim: Mortimer says he expected them all to be taller…His table might be too big for them
*Alyssa looks into a window just in time to see a hooded figure dart away from it*
Alyssa: Who’s Mortimer?
John: You’ll meet him later…
*A shape moves inside of the plane*
-------------THE WORKER’S AREA----------
*The petrol fillers are filling the plane with fuel*
Petrol filler 1: Good morning
Petrol filler 2: Early start today, eh
Petrol filler 1: Yeah
*A shape looms behind the workers*
Petrol filler 2: Hey, is that Jill?
*The shape grabs petrol filler 1 from behind, muffling his scream with its hand*
Petrol filler 2: Shit!
*Petrol filler 2 starts to run, but it easily catches him, snapping his neck effortlessly, before it slithers away, and out of sight…
----------THE PLANE--------
*Carlos, John and Kim leads everyone into the main “Lobby” of the plane. There’s a modern kitchen on one side, and a living room with a couch, some chairs and a TV on the other side*
Johnny: This is pretty nice! Much bigger than my hotel room
Carlos: 750 million Euros to build this. Better get our money’s worth!
*Amber is already stretching out on the couch. Lizzie sights as she sees this, clearly fed up with Amber’s recent shenanigans*
Kim: If you’re loving the living room, you’re bound to love the bedrooms!
Amber: Do they have double beds?
Kim: Erm, yes
Amber: Good. If anyone wants to see me, you’ll know where I am…
*Everyone feels a bit uncomfortable*
Amber: I didn’t mean it that way…
*Tuli enters the plane*
Carlos: Ah, Tuli!
*Tuli walks over to where Carlos and the group are standing*
Tuli: Sorry I’m late Mr. Vázquez
*Álvaro enters the plane behind Tuli*
Carlos: Álvaro?
Álvaro: Tuli said I could come. I really wanted to see the plane before it left!
Tuli: I don’t see any harm in it
Carlos: We’ll talk about this later
Trump: Ugh, while you two are talking about family matters, we kind of have a world to save. Put your little father-son talk at the bottom of your priorities!
Tuli: Trump’s right….kind of
Carlos: Come see me tomorrow
------------THE BEDROOMS---------
*Tuli and Carlos lead everyone into one of the bedrooms*
Tuli: Everyone has their private bedroom, featuring a bed, wardrobe, 60 inch TV flat screen, some draws, and shelves, along with two bedside tables
Lilly: And whose room is this?
Tuli: Yours
Lilly: Neat
*All of the bedrooms are nearly identical until they come across the last one*
Tuli: Now sadly, we couldn’t fit in Mortimer’s bedroom. He asks for everything to be so specific, so we cut through a wall, and made it a shared room. Alyssa, this will be your room, shared with Mortimer!
Alyssa: I hope he’s hot…*Alyssa sees the posters about how to massage a dead body after death*
Alyssa *Under her breath*: He better be hot
--------------THE GYM/ SPA----------
*Tuli leads everyone into the gym/ spa area*
Tuli: Carlos said that you’d like a gym and a spa, so we made sure we got one in!
*The room is spacious, with punching bags and dummies in the center, with treadmills and lifting apparatus against the wall. A door next to it leads into the spa. There are three showers. A whole steam room is at the other end
Alison: We get a steam room?
Tuli: Off course…
Kiko: These showers aren’t exactly very private…
*Everyone feels awkward again*
Tuli: Moving on…
-------------THE MORGUE---------
Tuli: This will be the final stop on our tour!
Tuli: And the last stop on the plane is the morgue!
Alyssa: We have a morgue?
Tuli *Sighs*: Of course, did you expect tracking violent aliens to have no casualties?
Alyssa: Is it too late to back out?
Carlos: Yes
Alyssa: Ugh
*They enter the morgue. Mortimer is already inside*
Tuli: This is Mortimer- he doesn't like to reveal his face
Mortimer: Good evening
Tuli: And don't let his strange comments put you off...
*Mortimer turns to Alyssa*
Mortimer: I can't wait to cut you open and see what's inside!
*Alyssa starts backing away*
Mortimer: I hope one of you fills my fridges soon. They're empty, and I don't like my fridges empty!
Tuli: Thank you Mortimer, but that's enough
Mortimer *He turns to Tuli*: Remember when we cut open that girl from Argentina?
Tuli: No-
Mortimer: Of course you do!
*Carlos feels how awkward everyone is feeling*
Carlos: Alright, let me show you to your rooms! Unfortunately, there wasn't enough room for one each, so Alyssa, you're in with Mortimer
Alyssa *Under her breath*: Fuck the world
Mortimer: We are going to have such a great time. I could do with an assistant
Tuli: Yeah, I'm sure you two will get on just fine!
----------END OF TOUR--------
*Tuli and Carlos take everyone back to the main living room*
Carlos: So is everything satisfactory?
Amber: Yeah!
Lizzie: I guess
Kiko: Showers could have more privacy…
Johnny: I like the steam room
Alison: Works for me!
Alyssa: Everything but Mortimer…
Linda: So when do we start?
Carlos: Today…
Linda: Of course we do!
Carlos: Tuli, Alváro and I will depart now, but we will call regularly! John and Kim are two of the best pilots to ever exist!
*The three of them exit*
Kim: So you’re at our mercy now!
John: She’s joking…
Kim: You have no sense of humor
---------OUTSIDE THE PLANE--------
*Carlos is walking back into the airport, alone. He hears something, and turns around…*
------------HOURS LATER---------
*Everyone is settled in their rooms when John makes his announcement*
John: I decided now is the best time to tell you exactly which route around the globe we wish to go! Our first stop is Rome, Italy. There have been reports of people losing control of their bones and bodies. Nearly everyone in Rome has experienced some kind of episode where they can’t control themselves. An electric surge has also been reported coming out of the catacombs, shortly before people lose control. Our job will be to find out what’s causing it and to put a stop to it. Nobody has died yet, but the cases are getting more severe, ending with life-long injuries! We will be setting off in 30 minutes!
-----------AT NIGHT--------
*Fast forward to that night*
*Alyssa is sitting in her bed on one side of the room, meanwhile Mortimer has a dead frog on his bedside table. He starts picking the intestines out. The smell fills the room. Alyssa gets out of bed and out the bedroom door*
Mortimer: I'm not bothering you am I?
*But Alyssa ignores the question. With her pillow and blanket, she falls asleep in the kitchen*
--------THE MORNING------
*Alyssa wakes up to the sight of Trump making a coffee*
Alyssa: TRUMP
Trump: What do you want?
Alyssa: Who said you were going to be on this plane?
Trump: Carlos agreed with me that I should join you
Alyssa: Why?
Trump: I don’t know, he sounded kind of funny on the phone, but I went along with it!
Alyssa *Under her breath*: I swear this couldn’t have gone any worse
*Mortimer walks in, seeing Alyssa*
Mortimer: Hello roomie, I missed you last night! I had to dissect the toad on my own
Alyssa: bad diarrhea
Mortimer: Awww, get better soon! If it helps, I’ve heard cases of diarrhea leading to death- and ending up on my table!
Alyssa: Thank you, I feel much more comforted
----------LANDING-------
*John makes his next announcement*
John: We will be landing in Rome shortly!
*Kim’s scream cuts out the announcement*
Kim: HELP!
*Kim’s body is moving in impossible ways, her spine making her lean back to the floor, and still staying on balance. Suddenly, the same thing starts happening to John. He shots over the monitor*
My personal thoughts are that I'm not very pleased with this episode. I know it could have gone a lot better, but I wasn't able to launch strait into an alien encounter. There are some previews of aliens to come!
This episode, I was really disappointed with how the characters turned out, as I felt I wasn't able to get all of their unique characteristics in here, and they kind of all felt a bit souless
Each episode, a main will get bit more development, starting with Álvaro next episode!
Next episode is called "The screaming skulls" but I won't give anything away
