In this mini- series, I will share the top 15 most ridiculous story ideas I had as a kid, ranging from a shark walking on land, to a cow that can jump over the moon and crush people, this is the top 15 dumbest idea I had as a kid!
NUMBER 13:
Age: 9
In at number 13, is the human- eating house. A family moves in, only to find their new house is eating them one by one.
It was a pretty ridiculous idea, but it's more ridiculous that I actually wanted to see the short story PUBLISHED
Everyone around me was like "Yeah, go for it" just because they were wanting to be nice, but 9-year-old me really saw that as encouragement, and tried to convince my parents to get it published. They obviously said no, but I wasn't done there, and seriously got into contact with one of the big publishing firms, emailing them a small draft. Nobody replied, and by the age of 10, I knew it was for the better
