Birthday big brother episode 1

Aug 24, 2019 by SeaViper
So, my 21st birthday, before I joined tengaged, I hosted a game of Big Brother for my birthday. I recently dug up some notes, and found a spreadsheet I made. It's time to return to 2018!

So I invited 16 friends, but only 12 of them could come. I decided to host it at my parent's house, because my apartment was too small, and they were away for the week this took place on (Yes, I had their consent)

The game took place overnight. The guests were limited to a total of four cookies. If they wanted a meal, they would have to cook it themselves out of the supplies I put forward (48 cookies, a packet of spaghetti, some vegetables, and ice cream)

The twelve that came had mixed levels of knowledge when it came to BB, but most people had some fun.

I will mention the guests name, age, and relationship to me. Four of the guests have fake names, because they are fairly private people.

It was difficult to convince my grandmother to come along, but I got her in the end.

GUESTS:

Amber (17) (Sister)
Jordan (24) (Husband of a friend)
Jessica (23) (School friend/ married to Jordan)
Florence (72) (Grandmother)
Barbra (22) (Co-worker)
Kate (29) (Cousin)
Jack (29) (Cousin)
Kara (22) (Friend)
Adam (23) (Boyfriend at the time)
Anne (21) (Friend)
Erin (22) (Friend)
Kelly (23) (Friend)

So, now we have the guests, lets jump into the story!

The guests arrived at my house, and the first have/ have-no challenge began. There are 4 beds in the house (2 double, 2 single) meaning only six people would get a bed. A further two people would get the couch, and the rest would have the floor!

People let Florance get a bed, but otherwise, it was the hunger games. In the end, everyone got their sleeping places, and the first HOH began!

For the challenge, I invested in a slack line. The guests had to walk across the line, while being sprayed by cold water. Whoever made it furthest won HOH. If more than one person got to the end, then a re-match would be held.

Amber, Jordan and Erin all made it to the end, so we have a re-match. Jordan won the first HOH

*I gave the group some more time to chat, and get settled, then Jordan started the nominations. He gave his reasons for nomination*

Kate because Jordan didn't really know her
Jack because Jordan didn't really know him. The POV players were then picked
(Jordan, Kate, Jack, Erin, Anne and Jessica)

For the POV, the guests had to answer questions about BB. It came down to Jordan and Kate, but Kate won

Because Kate is clever, she saved herself with the POV. Jordan nominated......

Anne because Jordan didn't get off the the best start with her. The group then had time to discuss

Amber started to form a small alliance with Anne, Erin and Kelly. Jordan and Jessica formed an alliance with Florance, Adam and Jack. It was soon time to vote. I have revealed the votes:

Amber voted to evict Jack
Jessica voted to evict Anne
Florence voted to evict Anne
Barbra voted to evict Jack
Kate voted to evict Anne
Kara voted to evict Jack
Adam voted to evict Anne
Erin voted to evict Jack
Kelly voted to evict Jack

By a vote of 5-4, Jack was the first person evicted from the game!, to the dismay of Kate

The group had some more time to talk. It was still fairly early in the first morning. The young people alliance of Amber, Kara, Anne, Erin and Kelly seemed to have control of the house...but will that all change?

PLACEMENTS:

12: Jake (5-4)

FINAL 2:

Jack had the choice of either going home, or staying to spectate. He chose to spectate

Considering half of these people have never watched Big Brother before, there is lots of interesting strategy to come. The first eviction was a bit random because everyone was getting their bearings
