kindred7 unfortunately it felt like her being as friendly as she is was an act after I played stars with her.
I did nothing wrong to kindred and kindred wouldn’t even give me the time to defend myself in Stars, and the way she talked to me and treated me kinda shocked me considering I liked her so much and was trying to work with her. She completely blocked me out of her game and it was such a personality shift it made me question whether her Uber friendliness on the account was an act or not
We talked a bit after the game and I still think she’s awesome but I’m still slightly bitter over the way she treated me :/
She believed information from known liars over me and wouldn’t even give me the time of day to explain things from my perspective
austino15fffan lol I didn’t like how you were accusing me of leaking chats and doing things I never did + I got multiple screenshots of you saying you wanted me up (I even included them in my finals blog) but instead of saying yes you did mention me you pretended you didn’t. I don’t take the game personally and I don’t think you should either. This same thing happened with Ridster - who had been telling everyone to nominate me the day I went up. The thing is I don’t like screwing other people’s games over by sharing screenshots that I’ve received. If someone is being aggressive towards me in a game and not trusting me / lying to me I don’t like it and I don’t have the energy to get into long arguments. In my Stars with Sam, when I was going after him, he knew and I told him why and same thing - he denied trying to nominate me but I had screenshots of him and everyone in some chat confirming they were putting me up (yet im not allowed to protect myself? It’s a game and if someone comes for me or even mentions my name / spreads rumours about me, then I have every right to put them in a set too). At least I don’t lie about it when someone asks me if I have been saying their name which lots of people do lie about.
Anyway you’re entitled to your opinion of if I’m “nice” or not based on that game. You had your allies in that game that were def higher on the totem pole than I was, and I don’t take it personally. And I’m not upset if you do dislike me now over that game. I stand by how I was - I tried not to be aggressive or whatever so if I was THAT then I’m sorry - I don’t recall doing that and honestly I’m sure we both think we were in the right and may never come to a real consensus on what was the right thing in the situation we were in
But the thing here is I was never pushing for you to go up, I was legit set up by Avalon who was the one saying he wanted you up and me thinking he was a close ally at the time was like yeah sure. Who was the one that told you I was “coming for you” all game? Avalon. It was a complete set up, and you completely threw me to the wolves without allowing me to even have a discussion with you, and it made all of our prior interactions feel insincere.
I was never gunning for you until I was told straight up that the reason I was in a set was because of you. Avalon set that whole situation up so we would target each other and you not only ignored my side of the story you started being disrespectful to me in pms.
After the fact… you even told me you realized it was all
Avalon and not me, and yku dealt with Avalon up until he went home and I know it was awful for you.
It all coulda been avoided if you gave me the benefit of the doubt but you listened to someone who set up a conversation with the full intention of screen shorting it and sending it to you. It was a completely dirty move that costed me my place in the game
Ultimately you won anyways so it’s irrelevant, my point was it felt to me like the reputation you had could be an act because your attitude towards me in the game flipped like a light switch and the way you were talking to me was not it. To go from TG’s sweetheart to the way you were in my pms just caught me off guard, thus my reason for even rehashing this.
It’s just a game at the end of the day, but I felt like my feelings or position in the matter were never taken seriously and ultimately I was evicted over a set up scenario, because the second I heard you said my name I came to you about it and that’s where all the drama even happened. If I didn’t want to work with you in the game I woulda kept the info to myself and I would have come for you in a more secret capacity, but I didn’t, I came to you the second I heard you were the one targeting me. If I didn’t care about your position in the game I wouldn’t have even bothered to come to you, and when I did come to you, you completely waived me off. kindred7
Even if I told one person what they wanted to hear, I had never pushed for you up to that point, if I genuinely wanted you up I would have pushed for you to go up way sooner but I never did, and the way Avalon was one of my closest allies but had that screenshot sent to you the second he got me to say what he wanted me to say is very telling of what the situation was, Avalon certainly got his way that round
I certainly don’t dislike you either, this is just a public forum and this is the situation that came to my mind first because it did feel unfair and it did made me question how you got the reputation you had. Prior to the game we had many great convos in mails on on one and I thought that at least with that you’d give me the time of day but you didn’t
Also I wasn’t close to anybody on any totem pole…. I was so alone the 3 days I was there LOL. Nobody was doing shit so I pushed the set for 15th and then because I pushed a set it was easy to get votes on to me for 14th the entire cast put me up, I was a scape goat no thanks to Avalon and Masta. There were people I wanted to be close with, including you, but nobody actually cared for me in the game, I didn’t have any set deals In place so I have to disagree with you there.
austino15fffan no I agree with you completely that it was all a setup that honestly screwed us over. At that moment it was the best move for me - we don’t know what was going on with each other. Avalon was basically lying to everyone and I remember trying to ask you who was lying to you about me but you weren’t telling me so I assumed (which honestly happened with Ridster so it wasn’t out of the realm of possibility) that for some reason you trusted Avalon more than me (Riddy really didn’t want Avalon to go up despite his reputation in the game idk why and basically screwed me over for that). Either way I think everyone deals with conflict differently and I can see why me shutting down with you was probably a shock to you - I’ll say to anyone though that the moment people start attacking me / accusing me of things I’ll only defend myself briefly and after a while I do shut people out because I hate lengthy arguments - I consider them a waste of time and energy. It’s not a secret or anything because if you think about it, it’s usually easy to see on blogs page when people fight. But it’s harder to see someone completely ignoring another person bc obviously no interaction is seen in those cases. I felt like I wasn’t being heard by you because I remember us having a brief discussion/coming to a semi-understanding but right after someone else (not avalon) shows me a (correctly timestamped) quote of you saying you don’t trust me at all (also Holly and I or me and someone else idk who heard you were coming for us - maybe it wasn’t holly but Idk - before we ever made a set). It wouldn’t have benefited me to get you up that early otherwise if that makes sense. Again I acknowledge it was all some screwed up setup but you have to see it from my perspective too. I’m sure if I dig everything up I can show time stamps of me seeing you coming for me BEFORE I ever say your name. But honestly idk what was going on in chats you were in - so I’ll just take your word for you not coming for me until after. Again to me even IF you were targeting me, I get it was a game move and I can’t even take it personally. Also the other people I shut out I actually never reconciled anything with them because I see your side of it too, and you weren’t wrong either. I think the thing with Stars is everyone has a very different experience because of their different interactions with people and different pieces of information they get.
ANYWAY I probably won’t reply on this blog anymore because it’s probably just useless clutter to everyone (and if anyone thinks I’m angry / arguing / upset here I’m not at all). If you wanna discuss more you can mail me or if you post something here I’ll read it but I won’t reply if that makes sense bc I think we can both agree Avalon was awful to work with and ultimately it screwed us over. And everyone has different ways of responding to conflict.
100% me trusting Avalon as much as I did really did fuck me over, and Avalon was the one telling me he wanted you out, so when you were pressing me about who was giving me this info and I didn’t feel comfortable telling you it was because I didn’t want you or Avalon to go and I thought I would jeopardize Avalon by telling you the info. Which in hindsight I obviously see now I shoulda thrown him under to you and that’s my own fault LOL
And yeah I fully get it, it was awhile back so I don’t remember all the specifics but after we had that argument I absolutely told people I didn’t trust yku anymore idk who I told that to but I am not surprised it got back to you I was completely seen as untrustworthy all because of Avalon so the whole house was set on me for 14th and it was honestly a lost cause for me to get out of that situation
I think had we spoken sooner and I told you it was Avalon that was shady it coulda spared me a bit longer in the game but al I can do js learn and that was a huge mistake by putting trust into Avalon.
Yep we all deal with conflict differently I totally get it:) I just remember wanting you to know after the game was over that I truly wasn’t the one initially throwing your name out and didn’t want to come for you but it got spun in a way that we were being forced to go after each other and that’s a bummer
And oh yes tempo that’s true but he was legit my only one person snd even then I think he was okay with me going home cause he wouldn’t be attached to me anymore LOL so I rly felt alone regardless by the time I went uo
