Dawn is very upset because of the plan last tribal. Brittany, a girl who did no one any harm, was sent out of the game and that upset her. Kyle has been comforting her since then. Matt has been wandering around, chatting with everyone to ensure that he's safe. Paul has been confused on why everyone thought he's been evil. Kiki is once again thinking about her game stance. She decides to talk to Matt and Kyle.
Kiki: “Hi guys...”
Kyle: “Hey....”
Matt: “Um...so what'd you want to talk about?”
Kiki: “Would you two be willing to get rid of Paul?”
Kyle: “I'd be up for it as long as Dawn is unharmed.”
Matt: “I'm not sure. He's finally not upset at me and I don't want that to change.”
Kiki: “Please just think about this. Paul could get a lot of jury votes if he goes far.”
Kyle: “She's right.”
Matt: “Well.....I'll think about it.”
Dawn reaffirms with her team that Kiki is next.
Dawn: “So Kiki obviously?”
Paul: “Of course.”
Kyle: “Only thing that makes sense.”
Matt: “Yeah....”
Matt (Conf.): “So I'm deciding two people's fate then? Man I hate my position. Merge better show up soon.”
Day 9 (Tagi Camp):
Jack is going around making sure everyone's needs have been met. He wants everyone to be satisfied.
Jack (Conf.): “As much as I hate doing this, I've got to make sure everyone feels pampered. That way they'll keep me around.”
Jack has been fishing, gathering coconuts, cooking, cleaning, doing laundry, and even entertaining. Andrew and John discuss Jack's actions.
John: “So you've noticed he's been doing.....well everything?”
Andrew: “I think it's a tactic to make everyone want to keep him around.”
John: “Well I'm fine with him doing everything to be honest.”
Andrew: “Plus he's sort of working with us a little.”
John: “So we're good then?”
Andrew: “Yes.”
Lewis and Vadi start forming a friendship. Vadi starts beat boxing and Lewis begins to practice rapping.
Lewis: “I'm the f***ing king. I've got tons of bling. All the fools here just see, that you've soiled your pants yeah you just went pee.”
Vadi: “That's not exactly the best rapping I've heard but I've heard worse.”
Lewis: “Heheheh. You're alright.”
Vadi: “Thanks Lewis. You're cool too.”
Vadi (Conf.): “I'm so lucky everyone likes me! I thought there would be at least one person on this island thinking that blue hair is weird and that I'm weird but I guess that's not the case!”
Day 10 (Reward Challenge):
Jeff: “Come on in guys!”
Everyone walks in.
Jeff: “Tagi getting a look at the new Pagong Tribe. Brittany voted out last tribal council.
Dawn frowns. Kyle pats her on the back.
Jeff: “Let's get right to it. There are some bags in the water tied to the sea floor. You'll be taking turns rushing in, untying and grabbing the bags. Once you do that, take out the puzzle pieces in the bags and have your two puzzle solvers solve the puzzle. First tribe to solve the puzzle will win immunity. You're playing for a trip to the spa!”
Helen: “Ooh!”
Kiki: “A spa? I guess it could be fun.”
Vadi: “I could use a pedicure.”
Jack: “Vadi, you go to spas?”
Vadi: “Ummm yeah. So what?”
Jack: “Nothing.”
Jeff: “Tagi, you have to sit two people out. Who are they going to be?”
John: “Andrew and Lewis will be sitting out.”
Lewis: “Ugh. Don't let me down!”
Andrew: “Show them what Tagi is made of.”
Matt: “I know what Tagi is made of...”
Paul: “Don't insult your own tribe Matt!”
Jeff: “I'll give you a minute to strategize and we'll get started.”
Jack: “Three bags, three swimmers, two puzzle solvers.”
Helen: “Brawn swims and brain solves.”
Vadi: “Sounds good. Steve and Helen will be on solving duty.”
Steve: “Alright.”
Dawn: “As we already know, I'm no good at swimming. So I'll solve the puzzle.”
Kiki: “I'll also solve with Dawn.”
Kyle: “So the dudes swim and the girls solve. Sounds good.”
Jeff: “Helen and Steve solving for Tagi. Dawn and Kiki solving for Pagong. Survivors ready? Go!”
Jack takes off into the water for Tagi. Matt is right up next to him. Matt speeds up and gets to the bag. Jack isn't even half way yet. Jack makes it to the bags. Matt is still underwater untying his ropes. Both players untie the ropes simultaneously. Both of them swim back with Jack having a minor lead. They finish at the same time. Vadi and Kyle take off. Kyle easily maneuvers the water giving him the lead. Vadi uses some spare energy to catch up. Both of them have trouble untying the ropes. Vadi finishes first and swims back with Kyle barely lagging behind. Kyle finishes and Paul leaves. Vadi finally returns and John swims off. Paul extends their lead, swimming like a dolphin. Unfortunately for Paul, John was swimming as fast as a shark. Paul is now only beating John by a nose. John begins to tie his rope while Paul is almost done with his. Both players maintain a steady pace swimming back. They both make it back together. Helen unties the pieces and tosses them to Steve who sets them by the board. Dawn and Kiki run back and forth with their pieces. Both teams easily place the first two pieces. The puzzle clicks into Dawn's head and she completes it quickly.
Helen: “Aw...”
Vadi: “Looks like I'll have to wait until this game is over to get some pampering.”
Jeff: “Alright Pagong tribe, you'll be heading out immediately on a boat. Tagi, I've got nothing for you, head on out.”
The Tagi tribe starts to walk back. Jack looks at Vadi with confusion. The Pagong tribe hops on the boat which begins to blast music.
Kyle: “Aw yeah!”
Day 10 (Tagi Camp):
Everyone resumes their daily duties. Steve was given a permanent position as fisherman because of his skill at spearing fish with the harpoon.
Steve (Conf.): “I like my permanent spot. It just means I'll have a permanent spot on this tribe.”
Jack is still really confused. He decides to talk to Vadi about it.
Jack: “Vadi, why do you go to spas?”
Vadi: “Well it's really relaxing. It really helps you look your best too.”
Jack: “But it's meant for chicks.”
Vadi: “Well no it's not. Because girls are feminine, they need more relaxing time than men. Being a girl is much harder than a boy you know. They have to give birth, they have to look pretty, and every month they ha~”
Jack: “Okay okay I get it! But why do something that's considered feminine?”
Vadi: “Because you shouldn't be judged based on what you do. It's fun and relaxing and worth doing.”
Jack: “I still don't get it...”
Vadi: “Most people don't.”
Jack: “Well.....alright.”
Vadi (Conf.): “Don't see why Jack is so upset. It's just spa treatments.”
Jack (Conf.): “Vadi is the definition of a feminine guy.....I don't know what to think.”
Lewis converses with his alliance.
Lewis: “So have either of you talked to John or Andrew about kicking off Helen or Jack?”
Vadi: “Not yet. I've been busy dealing with Jack's constant questions.”
Steve: “And I...um.....”
Lewis: “We know, you're too shy. I'll do it.”
Lewis heads on over to John and Andrew to discuss.
Lewis: “So are you two down with kicking off either Helen or Jack?”
Andrew: “Helen, nah, Jack, yeah.”
John: “He's been around for a bit too long if you ask me.”
Jack overhears this.
Jack (Conf.): “Those traitors! If I get my hands on them then they'll be the ones who want to go home!”
Jack jumps out of the bushes and confronts them.
Jack: “CAUGHT YA!”
Andrew jumps up startled and runs for the ocean. John stays behind to talk to Jack with Lewis.
Jack: “I knew our little deal was fake.”
John: “I'm sorry Jack but after what you did to Vim, I cannot let you go unpunished.”
Lewis: “Now hang on a moment, we haven't lost immunity yet, and we could still vote out Helen.”
Jack: “After hearing this loudmouth and his blonde weakling friend run for the hills, I don't want to work with any of you.”
Lewis: “Alright, be that way.”
Jack storms off.
Day 10 (Pagong's Spa Reward):
Everyone gets off the boat and sees some pretty ladies who gesture them to lay down on a massage couch. Matt and Paul sprint to their chairs, excited about the lovely ladies. Dawn, Kyle, and Kiki start laughing at them.
Matt: “I've never had a massage before and this feels amazing!”
Paul: “Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.”
Dawn: “Okay you two, calm down.”
Kiki: “I must say, this is more relaxing than I thought.”
After, they all got to sit in a hot tub.
Kyle: “I love hot tubs.”
Dawn: “We really need to win more....”
Kiki: “We have to give it our all in the challenge tomorrow. We cannot afford to send another person home.”
Paul: “Totally true.”
They all got a nice long shower afterward.
Matt: “YES.”
Dawn: “Sooo cleeeean!”
They all head back on the boat after having a nice meal and have a nice night sleep.
Day 11 (Immunity Challenge):
Jeff: “Come on in guys!”
Everyone enters, ready to give it their all.
Jeff: “Looks like everyone is determined today, but first I'll take it back Tagi.”
Lewis hands Jeff the immunity idol.
Jeff: “Once again, immunity is back up for grabs. Here's today's challenge. There will be a circular outline over here on the field. You'll take turns pushing each other out of the rink, similar to sumo wrestling excluding the obese players. When you push someone out, you earn your tribe a point. First tribe to 4 wins. Tagi, you need to sit out two members.”
Steve: “Um....Helen.....and...Andrew?”
Andrew: “Sounds good, and stop getting so nervous.”
Steve (Conf.): “I'm not sure why but I'm just freezing up more and more.”
Jeff: “Let's get started then. First up is Paul against Jack.”
Jack: “Alright pipsqueak, let's rumble.”
Paul gulps.
Jeff: “Go!”
They both struggle, but Paul's stamina gives out, leading Jack to pushing him right out.
Jeff: “Jack scores for Tagi!”
Matt: “We'll get them next round.”
John and Dawn approach each other.
Dawn: “Can you go easy on me?”
John: “Erm, sure?”
Dawn tries her hardest to move John but he stands there like a stone wall. He slowly pushes her out.
Dawn: “At least you went easy.”
Jeff: “John giving Tagi another point. Pagong better step it up or else it's another tribal council for them.”
Matt almost pushes Steve out, but Steve trips forward and causes Matt to flip out of the ring.
Jeff: “Steve's mistake ended up giving Tagi a big lead! Only one more point and Tagi wins immunity again!”
Vadi and Kyle enter the arena.
Kyle: “Well well well, if it isn't the guy with blue hair.”
Vadi: “Well well well, if it isn't the guy with brown hair.”
Kyle: “Heh, you're funny.”
They both push as hard as they can. However, Kyle gets a burst of energy and pushes Vadi out.
Jeff: “Kyle isn't giving up. Pagong is now on the board.”
Kiki and Lewis approach each other.
Lewis: “Don't think I'm just going to throw away this victory.”
Kiki: “Do your worst.”
Lewis uses all of his might, yelling at the top of his lungs, however, Kiki beats his strength and uses her cunning strategy of dodging to maneuver Lewis out of bounds.
Jeff: “Kiki isn't giving up either! Pagong slowly catching up, but Tagi does only need one more to win.”
It's Paul against Jack again.
Paul: “Beat me once, shame on me, beat me twice, then DAMMIT.”
Jack: “You and your Shakespeare.”
Paul: “That's not Shakespeare...”
Jack and Paul have a clash, both getting close to elimination. Paul points to Jeff and yells.
Paul: “Jeff, what's wrong with your face?”
Jack turns to look and gets pushed out.
Jeff: “Paul earns a point, although I didn't approve of your distraction heh heh. This is the last round then. Dawn up against John.”
Dawn walks up to John showing very little confidence. John easily pushes her out once again.
Jeff: “Tagi wins immunity!”
Jack: “YES! I'm not going home!”
Dawn: “Awwww. I'm sorry guys. John is just too tough.”
Paul: “No worries.”
Jeff hands John the immunity idol.
Jeff: “Congratulations once again Tagi, you're safe from tribal council. As for you all, I'll be seeing you tonight at tribal. Grab your stuff and head back to camp, and I'll see you later.”
Vadi starts hopping back to camp with the rest of his tribe following. Dawn looks sad as she walks with the rest of the upset Pagong tribe.
Day 11 (Tagi Tribe):
Vadi is still hopping up and down. Jack is relaxing by the beach. John, Andrew, Lewis, and Helen playing soccer with a coconut. Lastly, Steve is sitting by the fire thinking of his friends back home.
Vadi (Conf.): “Winning is just so awesome! Knowing that you're still in a game that can earn you lots of money is pretty righteous!”
Jack (Conf.): “Thank god we won that. If we didn't then I would have probably been fed to the fishes. I really have to hold out and try to make the merge.”
John (Conf.): “The merge is coming soon I can tell. I don't want Jack to be apart of it though. But I won't risk losing challenges just to remove him from our tribe.”
Andrew (Conf.): “I'm pretty happy. No one finds me as a threat and John is a really nice guy. But if you ask me, Helen should go instead of Jack. I don't think she'd be as loyal as him.”
Lewis (Conf.): “Not much to say. My alliance stands strong and I hope Matty doesn't go. If he makes it to the merge, then I get my friend back.”
Helen (Conf.): “I'm not feeling as welcome here as I did before. It seems like everyone has decided that it's time to let this Pagong member go.”
Steve (Conf.): “I really miss my friends. I don't really know how to communicate well with people that aren't them.”
Day 11 (Pagong Tribe):
Everyone is miserable. Everyone has grew to like each other on this tribe and now someone has to go home. Kyle approaches Dawn.
Kyle: “Alright Dawn. I want to make sure both of us make it out of this alive, so we need to vote together.”
Dawn: “But why me? I totally failed us today.”
Kyle: “Trust me, you won't be a threat in the merge, so you can slip under the radar.”
Dawn: “Alright. What about Paul and Matt?”
Kyle: “Here's the thing, I think we should vote for Paul.”
Dawn: “Why?”
Kyle: “He's a loose cannon. Remember how he was before he got bumped on the head?”
Dawn: “Yeah.”
Kyle: “Well I don't want that happening again. He's our friend but we cannot afford to bring him along. Matt and Kiki would be better.”
Kiki and Paul start to talk.
Kiki: “Paul, hear me out.”
Paul: “Okay?”
Kiki: “Kyle is a mastermind and if we let him progress, then we won't see the light at the end of the tunnel.”
Paul: “You think I'll just betray my friends that easily? You have another thing coming.”
Paul rushes to Kyle.
Paul: “Kyle! Kiki is targeting you tonight!”
Kyle: “Shouldn't be a problem. Us four are voting for her.”
Paul: “Excellent.”
Kyle pulls Matt aside for a second.
Kyle: “The vote tonight is Paul.”
Matt: “Wait....Paul?”
Kyle: “Trust me, I know what I'm doing.”
Matt: “I thought Kiki was next.”
Kyle: “You're just going to have to trust me Matthew.”
Matt: “I can't just vote for Paul that easily.”
Kyle: “Fine. Be that way.”
Kyle walks over to Kiki.
Kyle: “Vote for Paul and you're saved tonight.”
Kiki: “Oh really....”
Kyle: “Yeah. Trust me on this. If I wanted you out I wouldn't even need to talk to you.”
Kiki: “You have a point. I'm in.”
Day 11 (Tribal Council):
Jeff: “Come on in guys!”
Everyone enters, picks up their torches, and sits down.
Jeff: “This tribe is clearly falling apart. Five good friends and now one has to go. Paul, do you think that the lowest on the chain will be leaving?”
Paul: “Indeed. It will clearly go that way.”
Jeff: “Kiki, who do you think is the lowest on the food chain?”
Kiki: “Me.....”
Jeff: “Dawn, what have you thinking about?”
Dawn: “I'm thinking of this horrible vote. I love all these people and it saddens me to see one leave.”
Jeff: “Kyle, do you think it will be a blindside?”
Kyle: “Probably not.”
Jeff: “And with that, it's time to vote. Everyone's fair game. Kiki, you're up.”
Everyone goes to vote.
Kiki (Voting): *writes down “Paul the Dumbass”* “You should have taken my deal.”
Paul (Voting): *writes down “Khanisha”* “You are the weakest link. Goodbye!”
Jeff: “I'll tally the votes”
Jeff grabs the urn and brings it to his podium.
Jeff: “If anyone has the hidden immunity idol and they wish to play it, now would be the time to do so.”
No one stands.
Jeff: “Once the votes are read the decision is final. The person voted out must leave the tribal area immediately. I'll read the votes.”
Paul looks back at Matt, who points at Kyle and Dawn. Dawn is frowning and Kyle is smirking.
Jeff: “Seventh person voted out of Survivor Borneo, Paul, that's three and that's enough. Bring me your torch.”
Paul: “I cannot believe you'd betray me Kyle!”
Kyle doesn't say a word. Paul snatches his torch and walks up to Jeff.
Jeff: “Paul, the tribe has spoken.” *snuffs torch* “Time for you to go.”
Paul adjusts his glasses and walks away.
Jeff: “Clearly this band of friends couldn't agree on who to take out. Grab your torches and head back to camp. Goodnight.”
Everyone takes their torches and walks back. On the way, Kyle pats Kiki on the back and whispers something in her ear.
I liked Paul.
But seriously this story has flown above my expectations, it's amazing, has the right amount of character, strategy and challenge.
I'm still loving it.
