1) It is rude to smoke in an elevator. Where do you think the smoke goes?
2) Grades are so subjective it is ridiculous. What I might submit to one teacher might be an A, but someone else may give it a C.
3) I hate shaving my face. It takes additional time when I'm already running late, but it literally is a must.

Depends on the subject? Math/History/Science are pretty universal but assuming this is English I'll agree to an extent because there are still fundamentals of writing that have to be followed & those aren't subjective.
