Question

If tengaged is just a social media then why do we ban people for saying swears because we think they're offensive?

People dont get banned on facebook or twitter for posting the N word and they let children on there
Im not condoning the use of the N word and I will never use it in an context because I'm white but who are we to say people can't say a word on the internet?

Just a random thought after seeing Yoshitomi 's idea of tengaged being 18+

i kinda agree with you but its mostly a gaming website. you didnt discover tengaged bc it was a social platform, you came here to play

Yea, which kinda puts you into that situation where we're a gaming site based on social games.

but I read the n word and bannable f-word on facebook when I was 13. gagaluv

to be fair, you can also get banned for inappropiate content on fb or insta, doesnt exclusively need to be a word. Plus those communities are unimaginably larger and theyd need to track every single one of them for said words LOL

imo they should update the filter features so people can just filter ppl who offend them, just like you'd block them from your feed on twitter or w/e
we don't need 3 day bans everytime someone says a naughty word

They don't scan for words on Facebook but I bet you could report people for saying those words on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter.
