I cannot understand how she is so beloved! Sure, she's a good performer and is very creative, which I appreciate...but she is not a great singer, for real, and not that pretty either. Plus, the woman is such a bitch.
If Celine Dion were a bitch, I would understand. She's uber talented on just about every level, so it would make sense if SHE were a bitch. Anyway, I digress.

RitaBlankets You need to go back and listen to all of her albums. Seriously. And watch some of her most iconic music videos (Like a Prayer is a must, and Vogue, Like a Virgin, Papa Don't Preach, etc.) She has set the trends in the music industry in the past 30 years and paved the way for all the Britneys, Christina Aguileras and Lady Gagas of this world. Without Madonna there would have NEVER been a Gaga. Literally, most of Gaga's work is inspired off Madonna. She is the all-time best selling female artist in the history of music. There is no other female artist like her, no one better, or above her. No one even comes close. And it's not about her voice, it's about so much more. It's about her artistry, her image, her music in itself, her message, she has changed the rules of the game. And she has done SO SO much for the gay community, women empowerment, sexual liberation, etc...
