I also have strong opinions/feelings about the evidently violable human rights. But spreading vitriol on the blogs page isn't gonna make change happen. Angry? Good. Put that energy into mailing your representatives. Let them know how you feel. Put political pressure where it matters. As far as I know, no one on Tengaged is on the Supreme Court. They are on a trajectory, and they can dissolve perceived rights at the drop of a hat. Too many people have fought for the rights that are precariously hanging off of a cliff rn. Reach out a hand.
It is valid to cut people out of your life for being diametrically opposed to your politics/morals. I think it is toxic to say otherwise. But the online arguing is useless. No one is gonna change their opinions because a pixel told them to.
** I realize the stakes are a lot higher for certain people. Maybe you feel like arguing on a blogs page is your contribution. But YOU CAN do more. With not much more effort. I'm not coming for anyone in particular. But everyone is so galvanized, and I just want to direct that passion at a productive target.
