If it weren't for human handling, Crested Geckos wouldn't exist anymore. Deforestation of their natural habitat almost caused them to become extinct. In the wild, they don't have any predators, so there was no problems with humans catching them and they're now pretty big in the pet trade. He's a little jumpy with me because I adopted him as an adult, but they're totally fine being handled.
