Cluedo Case #1 PYN

Oct 14, 2018 by RavenWhiteFeather
Welcome to Cluedo ! This is a classic murder mystery board game which tests logic and deception. I've been obsessed with it for the past week and now I'm making it into a blog game.

6 guests were invited to a party, but a murder occured and now they are trying to figure out who killed Mr. Black, what weapon was used and where the victim was killed.
There are cards, each containing either a place, person or weapon. At the beggining of the game, I will randomly select a card from each category and put it in a sealed envelope. Those 3 cards will represent the sollution of the case and whoever figures it out wins the game.
Then I will randomly split the remaining 18 cards to the 6 players.
Those are all of the cards:

PLACES:
Dining room
Kitchen
Bedroom
Bathroom
Office
Garage
Garden
Living Room
Game room

WEAPONS:
Revolver
Iron bar
Rope
Wrench key
Candlestick
Knife

People :
Scarlett
Mustard
Peacock
Green
White
Plum

I recommend making a list of all of the cards. Cross out the 3 cards you have recieved at the beginning.
The 6 participants will roll dice for starting numbers. Then , one at the time you will ask the person who is after you a question. Your question should sound like this. "WAS SCARLETT IN THE KITCHEN WITH A CANDLESTICK?" If the person who got asked has at least one of the 3 cards the first person asked about, they have to privately show them the card. If they have 2 or more of the cards, they may choose which one to show them. Once somebody shows you their card, cross it out on your list because now you know its not in the envelope. If the person does not have any of the cards, the question moves on from person to person , until somebody shows them a card or nobody else is in possesion of that specific card.

If neither of the other 5 players own cards that were asked about , then those are the possible explainations:

A : The question contains the exact sollution to the case

B: the person asked about their own cards

YES, YOU CAN ASK ABOUT YOUR OWN CARDS to trick the others or make sure you find a specific card or not

It's highly recommended to ask a lot of questiond and cross out a lot of cards you have seen before making THE ACCUSATION

Once you think you know the sollution, you may make an accusation during your turn. An accusation should sound like this : "I ACCUSE GREEN WITH THE ROPE IN THE GARDEN". Then , the envelope will be given to you and you will read the cards in private. If your accusation was right, the game ends and you win. If you are wrong, however, you put the cards back into the envelope, your cards are shown to every player and you are eliminated. The others can still ask questiond or accuse.

Now, if you wish to play please make sure you understand the rules and adress any question. You will have to claim a character. Even though you might be peacock for example, she might be the culprit and you might not even realise it until later in the game. Even if you accuse yourself and you are right, you will still win.
ONCE THE GAME STARTS, GAME QUESTIONS MUST ME MAILED TO ME AND NOT TO THE PLAYERS.
SAME WITH ACCUSATIONS
