In general for newer players stay active when the game starts in castings BC if not and you fall asleep irl you'll probably wake up dead in your castings
In sum me- if there’s an odd number of 2s in the longes equation, the answer is always 2. Also if there are 2 twos in the equation that have 4 numbers (I.e. 2-1+3-2), the answer is also 2
Some of these are good, I started typing some others out but it got really lengthy and I doubt people would’ve read it. I may do a vlog at some point but some basics I’ve found
(I play only on mobile for reference)
Words
-Unscrambler is good to a certain point but once you improve enough it will only slow you down, sometimes you switch to it right when you would’ve been able to figure it out on your own. Try randomly spamming letter combinations to see if that helps. You might not know what LHINGES is, but clicking letters randomly could help figure it out (EGNLSHI can lead to ENGLISH).
-Remember/take screenshots of words you can’t figure out on the spot. I always had so much trouble with OLYMPIC, due to it always registering in my mind as POLICY with an extra M. After paying attention to it, I can usually get it pretty easily now. Same as learning the multiple options for letter combinations. GALLERY can be LARGELY, DREAM can be ARMED, SIT can be TIS can be ITS, etc.
-Fairly well known one but any words like IRAQI, AFRICAN, ASIAN, ISRAELI, IRISH, there is basically a capitalized letter (I or A in these cases) even though they all appear as capitalized versions. If you spell it correctly and it is wrong, start the word with the OTHER of the same letter (the other I or A)
-screen record yourself playing, probably the most effective comp for it. See your faults and what is hard for you, it’s very hard to see and remember as you play. It’s a Tengaged comp so it’s really not that deep but also it’s pressing a button on your phone and watching a 2 minute video so like, doing it isn’t that deep either
Damn that was a lot longer than I thought for only getting through one comp
I think also for all of these turn up the brightness on your screen just a little bit so your eyes can focus easier on what’s in front of you and make your eyes more attentive. Always helps me at least!
For zoo also, if you checked the gray animals and it isn’t that then I always check the panda and monkey next! But mostly besides that it’s just instinct on color.
-If you’re having trouble getting a word, look for key letter combos, stuff like -ING or -ER/RE-, the only word I know of that contains ING but doesn’t end in ING is ENGLISH so you need to watch out for that pitfall but there’s plenty more like WORKING LEADING HUNTING DEALING etc where if you take out the ING it’s just a 4 letter word that is super easy. Same with RE/ER words, something like SNRGIE can be tough, especially with there being 3 main answers. But taking out the ER/RE leaves you with SNGI which is pretty easily SING or SIGN, and you can try the prefix and suffix that go with each (SINGER, SIGNER, RESIGN) whereas trying the word, not getting it, then going to unscrambler, then trying 1 to 3 different answers could take too long just to still run out of time and miss the word
-Speed, very often overlooked in words. Even with a couple mistypes or multiple option words (TOP/POT) I can typically get to 110 within the first 15 seconds. They are almost always 3 letter words, maybe one or two 4 letter words. Getting through those in 15 seconds versus 35 seconds can really control your whole round. Take your time on the longer ones but go quick through the start and the bursts of 3/4 letter words you get every 25-30 words
-if you mistype a word, or you figure it out after already starting typing something that is incorrect, plan the order in which you need to hit the letters while finishing typing up the incorrect guess. This often happens to me where I’ll hit consecutive letters to close together and one of them doesn’t register. Be ready to type it correctly once the incorrect guess is over. Maybe a little more of a minor advanced thing but it can really help
ChaaChiing not necessarily, I would say signer probably least of the three overall
I do tend to see most of the time (about 90%?) that if it’s in the same game of words, it tends to stay the same. So if you’re playing a round of words and it’s RESIGN, then if the word comes again I do RESIGN first and it’s usually right. It can occasionally bounce back and forth but it’s rare enough for me to think there’s a strategic advantage to repeating the correct word from earlier
Didn’t know about clicking on red flakes directly to get rid of them. I’ve never pushed the flakes down to the snowman but if it works faster and brings out more flakes in the meantime I’m gonna try it out
For FindMe, as soon as I click (and release) the first picture, I click again and hold it during the time the next picture comes up. I then hold that click and release when I'm over the right picture and click again, and repeat. I don't know how much combined timeloss there is for the action of clicking, but in my mind, skipping that on the clock gets me a whole one or two extra points in the end.
