My issue with editing these days is that it is so lopsided, that often times there is not a winner who was given a cohesive and thorough edit. Like in Survivor...USUALLY, the Winner is given some kind of Winners edit. For example, Michele Fitzgerald was shown to be the underdog social threat. However, in big brother the editors are seemingly getting away from edits to all. Like look at Big Brother 17. Steve Moses got 5 confessionals over a 15 EPISODE PERIOD. Yes...that is 5 weeks, which is over a month with the WINNER only getting 5 confessionals. Obviously most times production has no idea who is going to win so they can get by with giving some people purple edits. But sometimes that stategy fails. And we are left with a winner who was ghosted half the season. Upon rewatching the season as a whole, the season would DEF not feel cohesive and good. Also, look at Celebrity Big Brother....Marissa smoked Ross...yet i believe she had the worst AVG confessional per episode out of anyone. If they had just given more generic ones from Ross to Marissa, then maybe we could know more about Marissa. My thing is that we are left with winners who we the viewers don't get a chance to know because the producers don't let us see it. I know for a fact last week Angela GREATLY influenced the game. Yet she got ZERO credit for anything. Now I think players like Angela and KC are playing decent games. and I am going to be really PISSED if we get one of them winning when they were ghosted half the season. The producers need to try to keep everyone to a more close playing field. I know thats hard. But when tyler has 95 confessionals and angela has 16.....we know there is a problem.
