You never really know what it’s like to be in minority until you’re there yourself. Only in my last Stars did I start (and play pretty much the whole game) in the minority and it’s bloody HARD!
As well as trying to keep people that want to work with you happy with the same decision (this in itself can be a feat), the only thing you can do is work on creating a crack in the Majority Group, to further yourself.
You can diss someone for surving polls against your poor allies who obviously didn’t think about their actions, but next Stars, you could very well be that person. Every game is different. Think! #stars
Disclaimer: love all my former cast members tbh, whether we were together or not...it’s a silly game, not one I’m that big a fan of. :P
init i don't think ppl understand how much of a pain in the a$$ it can be if ur a popularity threat, sometimes people will either ignore you or just lie about how they're nomming even if you're trying to help them
tbh ive only been in the obvious minority and it was in my first stars. otherwise i have to be in majority cause i literally dont survive polls otherwise, and in those times the people in the minority arent really doing anything to try to better their position
PrincessTeePee I have to say I'm pretty weird when it comes to stars but I actually prefer being in the minority. I find the majority is boring to play with in most games because they never want to make big moves then again when I have been in majority. I've usually been at the bottom of the totem pole.
NotAfraid ooo interesting and I do kind of get where you’re coming from. It’s harder but definitely adds a more interesting dynamic being in minority. When in early majorities, you probably find, without realising, you become more complacent and relaxed, in minority, you’re forced to try and establish relationships and trust, to ensure you’re not entirely doomed. Good point!
Each stars has two sides: majority/minority. It's not rocket science that a minlority might end up being flavored if the majority alliance is ran by a cult.
