Survivor S41 Power Rankings (Top 14)

Oct 13, 2021 by PowerRankings101
imageThis episode may have been a step down from others just because of how stuffed it was with advantages, but I still think we saw some impressive gameplay, especially from Xander in the challenge and Shan in the Ua tribe before tribal council. We also saw a riff between Tiffany and Sydney on their little adventure, we saw JD almost lose it all, and Naseer is yet again public enemy number one. Let’s rank.

14. Genie Chen- I was very high on Genie last week because she seemed to be getting no attention and was skating by. But with Brad gone and having voted incorrectly TWICE, I just don’t see how Genie maneuvers out of this unless she finds an idol or we get a tribe swap. She’s a completely calm player, something JD lacks, but JD has proven his loyalty to Shan and Ricard, so Genie is most definitely on the outs. Justice for Genie!

13. Tiffany Seely- Tiffany could’ve had a big rebound episode. She did in the challenge, but in the game, she’s still playing very chaotically. Even with fresh new faces in Brad and Sydney, Tiffany made a rough first impression, and I just worry that she’ll have trouble fitting in once the merge hits IF she gets there. If her tribe loses, I think she’s the easy boot as they won’t want to risk losing Liana or Xander for challenge strength and well…Evvie is running this tribe.

12. Xander Hastings- Xander is a huge asset in challenges, but the fact that he is still the only one to find the 1/3 idol (now that Brad is gone and that will likely be rebidden), we’re gonna have to hear Xander say the butterfly thing a third time in a row. Eventually, that’ll start to raise red flags and I’m just worried having zero voting ability for the time being will come to bite him should they lose.

11. Liana Wallace- Liana is safer than Xander and Tiffany right now, but that’s not saying much on a tribe that was pretty much unwinable a few episodes ago. If Xander is able to complete that idol, maybe he takes a shot at Liana. We’ve seen that Liana has already made some regrets and called them her “Million dollar mistake,” and I can’t help but feel like karma will come back to Liana. Whether it’s good karma or bad karma, we’ll have to wait and see.

10. Jairus “JD” Robinson- JD had a disastrous episode, but still managed to stay alive. Now that he handed over his advantage to Shan, I actually believe he’s safer than ever because now Ricard and Shan are indebted to him. That being said, with only four people left on his tribe, if they go to tribal, there’s little room to hide should Genie pull an idol.

9. Naseer Muttalif- Naseer has had a rollercoaster edit. Either this tension with people like Sydney and Deshawn is foreshadowing bigger things down the line (perhaps a merge) or this blue tribe will actually try to throw the challenge to get rid of Naseer as the previews suggest. I think the previews are all sh*ts and giggles and I believe that we’ll see the Blue Tribe win yet again, so I’m not too worried for Naseer right now.

8. Deshawn Radden- Deshawn got big character moments in episode two, but in episode three, all we saw was him talking about how much he wanted Naseer out. Seeing how the blue tribe (in the preview) wants to throw the challenge, I’m just so worried that it may backfire on Deshawn if he’s the most vocal person about throwing a challenge. Especially with Naseer being so resourceful and potentially having the skills to find idols, I don’t know if now is the time to take that shot at Naseer. Regardless, Deshawn still has a lot of tools in his box, including an extra vote, and I do think he has people who trust him. If he is vocal about throwing a challenge, he may lose that trust, especially from Danny. He needs to just play it cool and can take care of Naseer when they merge. Numbers are everything right now.

7. Sydney Segal- Sydney continues to be the dominant voice on the blue tribe. She’s giving everyone information, so why would they wanna take her out? The only reason I don’t have her as high as people like Heather, Danny, and Erika is because the previews do show a bit of a breakdown, but as we saw with Liana this week, those previews really mean very little.

6. Heather Aldret- Heather isn’t in much danger. Sure, she’s the weakest one on her tribe, but IF he tribe throws the challenge (which it looks like they might given the preview), I don’t think they’d throw it to get out Heather.

5. Danny McCray- Danny has been almost silent, except for the fact that Naseer threw his name out to Sydney. But considering Sydney went right to Danny makes me think Danny has complete control of the majority there. Danny is strong, he’s not someone you want to get out even if you throw a challenge. He’s safe.

4. Erika Casupanan- Erika is the safest of the blue team. She’s proven she is a challenge asset in puzzles, and she is lying so far under the radar that I think everyone’s name has been brought up EXCEPT hers. Sydney brought up Naseer and Heather, Naseer brought up Danny and Deshawn, Heather brought up Sydney. Nobody has brought up Erika’s name. Her going home right now would be a shock.

3. Evvie Jagoda- Evvie was a bit invisible this past episode, which might be a good cool down from her first two episodes if we’re looking at winner perspectives. I love the game Evvie is playing, and now that we’ve seen her tribe actually win a challenge, she may now have the longevity locked down as well.

2. Ricard Foyé- Ricard is Shan’s number two guy, and I really don’t see him going anywhere unless Genie is the one who finds an idol. Ricard is the bad cop to Shan’s good cop right now, as he’s not afraid to speak his mind and call people out for being shady (even if it makes him a little shady as an effect). I just feel like Ricard’s got a lot more game in him, and this episode showed just how solid of a bond he and Shan have, and also how much control they have.

1. Shantel Smith- Shantel dominated this episode. She was able to get JD to hand over his advantage and was able to take out someone who had two advantages, ALL while giving us some good personal moments too. Shan has winner written all over her, but it’s just SO early. She is the standout of the pre-merge though for sure.

It’ll be really interesting to see if the preview leads us astray or not. If things follow the preview, then we’ll likely see Blue Tribe lose, but I just can’t fathom a tribe throwing away a number like that especially when momentum has been so strong with them. I’m gonna go out on a limb and say green loses again and go with the most obvious person on the outs as my boot pick.

PREDICTIONS:

Going Home- Genie Chen
