Michael and Liz’s elimination was heartbreaking to me. Not only was Michael a top front runner for me, but I definitely think Liz had potential, and was just the sweetest person. Sure enough, Subha ends up getting a lot of flack, but putting up great food, and Nick absolutely crushed it leading his team to victory. Here’s the top 14 rank!
14. Sam Haaz- Sam and Shari fell apart, and out of the whole bunch, their resume seems to put them at most risk of elimination going forward. I can’t say I’m a fan of either of them fully, so they can go home.
13. Shari Mukherjee- Shari had a good week last week, and now she’s back on the bottom. I think this tag team challenge exposed all her weaknesses, and she’s once again one of the most vulnerable for elimination.
12. Subha Ramiah- Subha was put in a team challenge that seemed doomed to fail, but he and Dorian pulled it off. The problem he has is team work. His cooking ability is evident, but his teamwork doesn’t hold up to it. So for that, I think he’s in the bottom tier still.
11. Dorian Hunter- Poor Dorian got dealt a bad hand with Subha, but being overdramatic almost sunk the ship too. I think going forward, she needs to breathe and have faith in her cooking. I’m a huge fan of hers and want to see her succeed.
10. Fred Chang- Fred got to hang out on the balcony this week, but his lamb dish with Keturah wasn’t that good. He is still vulnerable in my book, despite still being one of the fan favorites. I like him a lot, but I’m still not convinced he’s as much of a front runner as we want to believe.
9. Wuta Onda- Wuta is finally winning challenges and it’s nice to see. Give the kid a break. I’m a fan of Wuta and hope he can keep doing better and better as the weeks come. Still in the middle of the road for his early performance, but not at the bottom anymore.
8. Renee Rice- Renee seems to be in a pretty good position. She had a rough few episodes, but now, I think she’s starting to emerge as a stronger player than we all thought. I did say the same about Michael, however, and he was sent home, so really anything can happen.
7. Micah Yaroch- Micah is finally hitting a groove, and I think he’s starting to succeed more and more. Maybe he needed to have a scrappy start before hitting the ground running.
6. Keturah King- Keturah wasn’t too strong on the lamb, as I mentioned with Fred, but she still remains one of the only people to never really be on the bottom, so I think she’s okay going forward.
5. Bri Baker- Bri is still quiet, but continues to just dominate these challenges, particularly team challenges. I love Bri.
4. Sarah Faherty- Sarah and Noah were a match made in heaven. Any chance of failing seems over now, because Sarah is on the uppity up and can probably still win it all (she was my winner pick after all).
3. Noah Sims- Noah did incredible in that tag team challenge with Sarah, and continues to be a force to be reckoned with. There’s no-ah way he’s going home.
2. Jamie Hough- Jamie the fisherman has been getting less and less content but still remains one of the major players of the season. He’s safe.
1. Nick DiGiovanni- Nick gets the top spot for the second week in a row. He has never had to cook off in the bottom, and he led a team of people older than him to victory. He is truly the one to watch right now.
Nick is the above all front runner, but don’t count out Jamie, Noah, Sarah, Bri, or Keturah. Everyone else has had some weak points that still make me question their outcomes, but it’s safe to say Shari and Sam are the most vulnerable.
