Coming off of Janelle & Britney’s elimination, I think it’s clear who the weakest team left is. However, let’s rank these pairs either way.
7. Rachel & Elissa (Sisters; Big Brother & The Amazing Race)- They survived the non-elimination leg and were able to bounce back, but I still don’t think they’re going to be able to keep up with the rest. They’re still hanging off at the end, and I don’t see them really coming through past where they are ranked now.
6. Leo & Jamal (Cousins; The Amazing Race)- The Afghanimals really haven’t been doing well since their second leg. Sooner or later, their luck is going to run out. How many more weeks until that happens?
5. Nicole & Victor (Dating; Big Brother)- Nicole and Vic went from getting 2nd a bunch of times to actually falling into the middle of the pack. Also, they’re shown fighting with the Reilly sisters in the next episode, so I could actually see them remaining in the middle of the pack. It’s a shame, but they’re going to really need to fight if they want to win a leg, let alone get 2nd place again.
4. Chris & Bret (Friends; Survivor)- They had two GREAT legs of the race, so I wanna keep them higher. I don’t know if I’d put them up higher than the three race teams above them, but I do see them being the dark horse to possible race in the finale.
3. Becca & Floyd (Friends; The Amazing Race)- Team Fun won another leg, and even if they didn’t do as well the leg after, you have to give it to them. They won their second leg this past episode, and I have to acknowledge that.
2. Colin & Christie (Life Partners; The Amazing Race)- They have been consistent at the top. I just think they’re one of the least interesting teams. That’s very much broken record of me, I’ve said it for a while, but it’s true. I just don’t find myself very entertained by them, and maybe it’s because I didn’t watch TAR5, but I am really unenthused. They’ll probably still make it deep though, and could win.
1. Tyler & Korey (YouTuber Friends; The Amazing Race)- This team won the leg they were meant to win, and it was heartwarming to see them do so. I haven’t put them this high in the rankings yet, so I’m glad I”m finally doing so. They deserve it.
I think Bret & Chris are the team that are truly coming up on top to contend with these Race teams. Vic & Nicole seemed to disappear into the crowd this week, the Afghanimals continue to plateau, and the Reillys just…have to go…
