So Timothy & Darren had the most to lose, and they won…so is there any beating them? Charles & Rodrigo have been nearly invincible in the bottom challenge. And then Graham & Aaron, who have been on a rollercoaster ride all season, finally cooked their final plate, getting sent home short of French week.
4. Rafael Gil and Esdras Ochoa- These two are ambitious and finally deciding to kick it up a notch. But maybe it’s too little too late? They finally abandoned their Mexican roots, only to end up on the bottom, so maybe they’ll revisit their starting place and go back to the Mexican roots. Out of all the final four, I think Rafa and Esdras are the underdogs. I can’t pinpoint why, but it’s just my opinion.
3. Shane Osborn and Mark Best- Shane and Mark have been focal points all season, as other contestants talk about how great they are. We saw them riding in the middle this week, not standing out as the best, but still surviving the elimination. The fact that only half of the team got to taste the food because of an allergy just shows how good their teamwork is, and if they were able to do that, I think they have a good shot of making the finals.
2. Charles Michel and Rodrigo Pacheco- They have been on the bottom now so many times, but they really proved themselves in this most recent elimination challenge. And considering we’re going to France next, I feel like these guys must have an advantage on everyone else, and despite being MY least favorite of the competition, they may be others’.
1. Timothy Hollingsworth and Darren MacLean- They dominated time and time again, and now they’re on top again, putting everyone else in the elimination challenge. If there is any front-runner, it’s them. It’s gotta be.
The final four are all super strong. But now that Graham & Aaron are out and Charles & Rodrigo made a winning dish, a new team has to take the vulnerable spot. I’m taking a pot-shot here.
1. Timothy & Darren —
2. Charles & Rodrigo (+2)
3. Shane & Mark (-1)
4. Rafael & Esdras (-1)
Biggest Rise: Charles & Rodrigo (+2)
Biggest Drop: Shane & Mark and Rafael & Esdras (-1)
