So Restaurant Wars is better than ever. Three restaurants: North East, Third Coast, and Thistle. We didn’t see anyone go home, but we are still getting a double elimination, and here’s how I think it’ll all go down.
12. Pablo Lamon- I thought Pablo would go home last week, and I think he’ll still go home this week. He is tackling the most food of the night. He has the most pressure on his shoulders, and since Michelle is immune, Sara is confident in front of house, and Brandon seems to be leading things, he’s easily the most vulnerable of the four. If one of his dishes fails, he’ll probably go home. And he’s got so much food, he may be inevitably doomed.
11. Nini Nguyen- Nini’s track record is promising, but she really is the one sinking the ship for her team. If her team loses, I don’t see any reason it wouldn’t be her going home, especially with a double elimination, and especially given how poorly her team is positioned right now.
10. Justin Sutherland- Justin has been strong this entire time, but he may be losing his cool. Of all the people on his team, I think he is one of the more vulnerable people, given he hasn’t won as many challenges as Nini or David, and doesn’t seem to be calm and controlled like Kelsey. Right now, Nini is truly sinking the ship, but Justin’s attitude could sink it further.
9. Eric Adjepong- Eric has always been strong, and he’s on the safest team. But he is the one causing some problems, asking for lots of help on his one sole dish. If his one dish is a failure, he’ll be sent home. He has no other food to back him up. He’s going to have to nail it.
8. Brian Young- Brian had a rough time with timing and slowness, but now that his chicken is rolled, he is able to focus on the front of the house. I think his staff is going to be the most prepared, and he should get praise for it. If his dish is a failure, he could be in danger, but being front of house alleviates some of the pressure, as it lies on the rest of the team.
7. Brandon Rosen- Brandon seems like he’s in his element with Restaurant Wars. His food hasn’t been great this season, but he’s proven to lead well in teams, despite being a bit of a jerk. I think he’ll walk out of Restaurant Wars safe.
6. David Viana- David has been involved the least with all the drama on his team’s side. He just needs to put the best food forward, and pray that Justin and Nini get their acts together. It’ll be interesting to see how he handles his team crumbling.
5. Kelsey Barnard Clark- Kelsey is going to show as the strongest of her team. If her team wins, it’ll be because she picks up Nini’s slack. Also, she seems to be the one trying to calm Justin down as well. As long as her food is good, she’s good.
4. Sara Bradley- Sara is confident at the front of house, as she should be. It seems like she knows how to interact with people, and Southern Hospitality should not be a problem for the Kentucky native.
3. Eddie Konrad- Eddie is here to prove he can work well with a team and shop consciously with money. I think Eddie has won over all the viewers, now he just has to win over his team. I think he’s gonna do just fine.
2. Adrienne Wright- Adrienne wants to prove herself as the front of the house, and of all the contestants, she seems the most chill and ready to go. She’s prepared. I could see her really excelling in this challenge. She made the smart decision to make a dessert, so she can focus on expediting for the first two courses. It’s a smart plan, and could lead her to a winning challenge.
1. Michelle Minori- Michelle is the only one who has zero chance of going home, since she has immunity. It’s a good day to be Michelle. Though she is at the top spot, I am worried she could end up slowing her team down, however. We will have to wait and see. For the sake of rankings though, she’s the only guaranteed safe.
Restaurant Wars has truly shaken things up. Michelle is safe, so she gets the top spot. I think the people we would normally consider underdogs (Adrienne, Eddie, Brian) are actually staying collectively cool and collected (admit it, Brian started off shaky, but has been rocking it with the front of house). I think North East, despite having the most boring name, will come out on top. This leaves Thistle and Third Coast. If one team loses, it could be Justin & Nini going home, but if they eliminate one from each team, I think it would be Pablo and either Nini or Justin.
