Interesting how last week, my rankings had Scotley and Gizzy on the bottom, and they ended up being the two in danger of going home. I think Scotley was better in the challenge, but I’ll miss Gizzy more. And Trev hangs on…wow.
10. Scotley Innis- Scotley may have needed this week as his big push to advance in the competition. Or this is just a precursor that Scotley will be the next one gone. I think he’s walking a thin, thin rope.
9. Trev McGrath- Ugh, and this shiny, new Trev we thought we were seeing was too good to be true. I am thoroughly disappointed in the way he got so cocky and then forgot to put his fish up to the pass. Ramsay laughed it off, but the rest of his team wasn’t having it. This week is going to come down to Scotley vs. Trev, I bet. And any day of the week, the logical side of me says Trev goes home. But Ramsay likes Trevor. I don’t understand. Edge to Trev, I guess?
8. Bret Hauser- Bret left last time due to a medical illness. It looks like that may happen again. I sure hope not…but even if he stays, he is definitely someone more vulnerable. His team could be ready to boot him at any point, especially if his health is in question.
7. Roe DiLeo- I really don’t know how this week is going to go, because you have people like Scotley and Trev who have been loud characters but have had their good weeks, and then Bret who may be having more medical issues. Out of all the women, this challenge made Roe stand out as the weakest. So if any of those three red team men don’t go home, my bets are on Roe.
6. Heather Williams- Heather has been doing fine, but I still haven’t been blown away by anything Heather has done. I really need to see her step up to the plate, and with this dinner service coming up, we’re gonna need to see that leadership from her for any chance or getting to final two again..let alone black jackets.
5. Kanae Houston- Kanae is so passionate, and I think it’s evident in everything she does. I think she bounced back beautifully this week and could end up becoming a contender in a few weeks.
4. Mia Castro- Is there a dish Mia can’t cook? Oh yeah, beef wellington. But hey, she’s getting perfect scores on everything else!
3. “Motto” Chris Motto- Motto knew he had to step up as a leader, and he did. It showed, and it saved him in the long term. Motto is great.
2. Ariel Fox- Ariel knew she had to prove her worth in the kitchen, and I think she totally did in the challenge. Ariel is a force to be reckoned with, and may just be this season’s silent but deadly winner.
1. Jose DeJesus- Jose had a great week this week. He was in the elimination challenge because he’s sat out early in the challenge. But his challenge performance had Ramsay saying it was his best dish of the competition so far. I think Jose is becoming the true dark horse of the season, and he has gotten zero negative content since the first dinner service. Jose is the best rookie all around.
I think Motto and Jose are leading the red side while Mia and Ariel are leading the blue. The rest could all be vulnerable, but I think the red team has some dead weight to drop. Whether it’ll be Bret, Trev, or Scotley, I’m going to predict the person who has been on the bottom (of his team AND my rankings) most.
1. Jose —
2. Ariel (+1)
3. Motto (+4)
4. Mia (-2)
5. Kanae (+4)
6. Heather (+2)
7. Roe (-1)
8. Bret (-4)
9. Trev (-4)
10. Scotley (+1)
Biggest Rise: Motto, Kanae (+4)
Biggest Drop: Bret, Trev (-4)
