Ryan was never a huge character in the edit, so I’m not surprised by his elimination. But we also saw some favorites crumble and underdogs rise to the top. Let us see.
14. Gerron Hunt- Oh Gerron. Gerron can’t get a break here and continues to fall in the bottom of almost every challenge. He’s probably going home very soon.
13. Ashley Mincey- Last week, I talked about Ashley’s decline. It’s getting worse, and her and Taylor really tanked it this week. I think she’s one of the next ones to go.
12. Samantha Daily- Samantha isn’t doing badly, but if you look at someone like Mark, who is also young, they are on two different levels. Samantha is good, but not a winner.
11. Farhan Momin- Farhan has been invisible lately. Where has he been?
10. Taylor Waltmon- Taylor had one flub, no big deal. But now she had another flub. And a big one. So I think she really needs a push because she is slowly declining.
9. Cesar Cano- Poor Cesar really had a bad week. Will he bounce back? He and Taylor took a bit of a plummet and I hope they recover.
8. Chelsea Sargent- Chelsea is fine I think. She’s not going to win it all but stays consistent enough to cruise down the middle.
7. Shanika Patterson- Shanika confuses me because sometimes she can be excellent and sometimes she can be in the lowest of lows. But she’s good tv and should be around for a little while.
6. Bowen Li- Bowen is improving and was able to work effortlessly with Shanika. Good for him.
5. Ralph Xavier Degala- Ralph got a big boost this week. He has been under edited and didn’t get picked for a team. But Joe helped him rise to the top and gave him a big confidence boost. I like Ralph a lot and I think he’s got something that makes it easy to root for.
4. Mark Ingraham- Mark and Cesar didn’t do well together, but Mark really came back on the second challenge and redeemed himself. His soufflé was impeccable. That has been the hardest dish to cook thus far. So props to him.
3. Emily Hallock- The winner of most consistent goes to her. Good job.
2. Julia Danno- I don’t wanna spoil Julia with the top spot every week. But she did great again this week and is the one to beat. Her and SJ killed it and deserve praise for it.
1. SJ Yun- SJ won a challenge! And he worked with last week’s number one Julia. They were unstoppable and deserve the top spot this week.
Anyone in the top 6 could win. I think Cesar and Taylor are in a rut but can come back from it. The rest have had off days that aren’t as promising so we’ll have to see. But right now, Gerron is the one who has been in the bottom more than anyone.
