I was correct in Katie being eliminated. It’s a shame because Katie had potential. But we have four great chefs in the final four. So who will be in our final 3?
4. Palak Patel- Palak is definitely weakest of the bunch. She is fine on camera but doesn’t stand out. Her food is solid, but never mouthwateringly mind-blowing. I actually loved her gazpacho idea, but she overshot it by a lot. Poor girl. I think this whole final four is worthy of a finale spot, but she is probably next to go.
3. Manny Washington- The thing with Manny is, he’s either great or bad. There’s no middle ground. This week, he crumbled with his dish, serving terrible crab fritters. He just didn’t seem to really have much care for his dish. He got lazy, and it showed. Manny is good in presentations, but he sometimes even misses the mark on that if his nerves kick in. I like Manny, but he has to have a really great finish to be the next Food Network Star.
2. Christian Petroni- Christian bounced back and did great this week. I think he’s going to easily be one of our final three. But will he win? He has a big personality, but none of his food has stood out to me. I think he’s the best on camera though.
1. Amy Pottinger- Amy! We’ve been waiting for Amy to finally get it together. She finally did. I loved Amy’s dish (I’m a sucker for carrots), and her presentation just felt warm and cozy, as Amy is. She earns the top spot for FINALLY showing up to the party.
Yeah Amy! Justice for Adam! Okay, so anyone could be in the final three, but I think Christian is a lock, and Amy has a good chance after a great week. Manny is also probably in. By process of elimination, that leaves poor Palak, who has done great this season.
Every year on Food Network Star, there's always at least one Bland Blonde™. Last year it was Addie and Amy, this year it was Katie and Amy. Amy is no less bland than she was last year, so I don't think she'll win over Christian in the end
snick427 I agree. Though I do think that Amy had a better shot than Christian at the final four point. After this past episode, she gets knocked down a few pegs
