Survivor S36 Power Rankings (Top 10)

Well, I guess the preview WAS right, and Des was destined to go home this week. Kellyn lost lots of power, Donathan gained lots of power, and Michael miraculously escapes tribal council safe. But a double elimination is in store, so it’ll be even harder to survive this week.

10. Jenna Bowman- Jenna has proven Malolo strong. Bad news for a double elimination. Donathan and Laurel will be safe, leaving Jenna and Michael out in the open, and Jenna the most likely to get the axe.

9. Chelsea Townsend- Chelsea won a challenge! Yay! But she also lost her number one ally. If the rest of the group find out it was her who voted with Des, she could be the next one out.

8. Michael Yerger- I have two simultaneous thought processes. My first thought: with two people going home, Michael will surely at least be ONE of the two, especially now that we are certain he doesn’t have an idol. My second thought: with two eliminations comes two immunity winners. Michael has double the chance of winning immunity. I’m putting Michael at 8 because I think he is in danger, but the fact that he has a greater chance of winning immunity gives me a spark of confidence.

7. Angela Perkins- Angela doesn’t seem to be in too much control, but since Chris left, her name hasn’t come up once. If the show is trying to foreshadow something, Angela’s Ghost Island visit could come back to bite her. She said that she hoped losing a vote wouldn’t ruin her game. It didn’t last week, but it may in the near future once the numbers dwindle and her allies continue dropping like flies (Chris, Des, etc.).

6. Kellyn Bechtold- Kellyn could have been blindsided had Laurel not told Domenick the plan made by Desiree. But Kellyn was able to fight for her safety and get protection when she needed it. Being bossy about demanding Michael to go home was a bit uncalled for, but in the end, she voted with Dominick and Wendell, which should keep her safe for another week.

5. Sebastian Noel- Sebastian isn’t a threat to anyone, so I don’t see him getting votes to go home. We’d have to see lots of idols played and a stray bullet to send Sea Bass home.

4. Wendell Holland- Wendell was able to stay out of drama after coming out strong a few weeks ago. I think he knows when to hold back and when to go hard. If he keeps it up, we’ll be seeing him in the finals.

3. Domenick Abbate- Domenick is the kingpin of the alliance, and still has an idol in his back pocket. Kellyn trusts him, Laurel trusts him, and the cameramen seem to trust him because he’s getting lots of funny screentime. While Donathan and Laurel made the bigger moves and ran this episode, Domenick is right there behind them, and probably the more likely to win in the end game.

2. Donathan Hurley- Donathan is easily high on this list. He and Laurel secured safety for all four Malolos by calling out Desiree’s B.S. and he found an idol (two idols technically). Expect some Southern charm in the finale this season.

1. Laurel Johnson- Laurel found herself in a sticky situation and maneuvered it beautifully. If Laurel freaked out, Laurel would have gone home. But handling it the way she did, Laurel got out Desiree, strengthened her bond and trust with Domenick and Wendell, learned about Donathan’s idol and still kept all of Malolo safe. The clear MVP of the week.

Laurel, Donathan, Domenick, and Wendell seem like an unstoppable force. The three guys have idols, Laurel has brains, and they all have the numbers. In a double elimination, we’ll probably see some of the smaller characters go, but Michael is also a possibility if he doesn’t win immunity.

Going Home- Jenna Bowman and Chelsea Townsend
