I was correct in predicting Bradley’s elimination! And now we have the merge. Who will rise? Who will fall? Who will be the first person sent to Ponderosa? And who will win the Dom v. Chris brawl?
13. Chris Noble- Chris hasn’t gone to tribal council yet. And I have a feeling he won’t go to any more after this one.
12. Angela Perkins- If it’s truly going to be a Chris vs. Dom war, Dom’s side may be smarter to go after Chris’ number one ally, who is a much safer vote than someone like Chris. If they fear Chris having an idol, I could easily see them splitting votes and Angela going home.
11. Chelsea Townsend- Chelsea seems to be close with Domenick, as we saw from the last vote. The same thing with Angela could happen to Chelsea. If Chris’ side wants Dom out, they’ll go with Dom’s number two. Chelsea could be the safe vote, so she needs to be cautious or she’ll have to drink her coffee at Ponderosa.
10. Sebastian Noel- Sebastian is good at challenges. Nowadays, we don’t see lots of people targeting challenge threats over strategic threats, but Sebastian is also super tight with Chris and is in a showmance with Jenna, so he could be someone to get rid of earlier on.
9. Jenna Bowman- I love her and Sebastian’s relationship, but if she wants to go deep in the game, she has to keep it low-key.
8. Desiree Afuye- Desiree and Kellyn are here in the middle because I don’t know how their odds stand. On one end, they just lost Bradley, their biggest ally keeping them safe. On the other hand, they just lost Bradley, so people may want them as swing votes. They’re in the middle and could go either way.
7. Kellyn Bechtold- Kellyn is with Des, with one exception: Kellyn now has an extra vote. This tribal could be the time to use it and gain the power back.
6. Libby Vincek- Libby and Donathan could have gone into the merge with a minority, but it seems like Libby has finally swayed Domenick and Chelsea. While she’s screwed Dom’s side once, I think she needs to lay low and she can go deep in the merge. She shouldn’t be anyone’s biggest threat.
5. Donathan Hurley- Donathan is going to be a useful number here in the merge, and is friends with both Domenick and Chris. The side he chooses will be the deciding factor in how deep he goes in this game.
4. Laurel Johnson- Out of the rest of the people who don’t have idols, Laurel is the safest. She has the most connections amongst anyone. Everyone seems to go to Laurel for conversation: Domenick, Wendell, Donathan, Chris, etc. ….but they don’t seem truly threatened by her. I think Laurel will need to start playing a bigger, flashier game down the line, but right now, this is the best game for her to be playing.
3. Michael Yerger- Michael is the underdog going into the merge, but he seems to be friendly with lots of people. But he is a few spots away from the top because he doesn’t seem to have one solid alliance. He’s going to need a ride or die in order to have a shot at making final tribal council. But he has an idol, so he’s safe for now.
2. Domenick Abbate- Domenick should be in a lot more trouble than he is. He just made a big move getting Bradley out, and lots of Naviti will be mad at him for it. But he has a legacy advantage that can be played this week, and an idol to back that up, so he won’t be going anywhere.
1. Wendell Holland- I’m giving Wendell the top spot a second week in a row. He found an idol (which is a historic idol that I am so happy is making a return this season), and he is best buddies with Domenick who also has an idol. Everyone loves him (they even sang Happy Birthday for his girlfriend), and he has a good shot of winning an individual immunity challenge. He seems unstoppable, and just needs to make a strategic move to give him a reason for a jury to award his gameplay. As we approach the halfway point of the game, Domenick and Chris have been the topics of conversation, but I think Wendell is the dark horse that could take it all.
It’s inevitably going to be Chris vs. Dom. Whether they will actually vote for one another or go after their alliance members seems to be the question. If they vote for each other, Dom plays his idol or legacy advantage and Chris is gone. If they vote for their alliances, it could be Angela or Chelsea. I don’t know how it’s gonna go…but wouldn’t it be pretty funny to see Chris go home in the first tribal council he attends?
