Survivor S36 Power Rankings (Top 16)

Mar 21, 2018 by PowerRankings101
imageWow, Michael had a great move to make, but just chose the wrong person to save. If he had used the idol on Brendan, it would’ve certainly been the move of the season so far, but sadly, the odds weren’t in their favor. Here’s how the contestants rank after this week.

16. Stephanie Johnson- Stephanie was writing “HOPE” in the sand…it got her 0 votes, an idol played on her, and probably a buttload of paranoia. Does Michael playing an idol on her make her more of a target? Why else would he use it on her? People must feel threatened by her, and that’s not good news for Stephanie.

15. Michael Yerger- Poor Michael. Had such a good move to make and chose the wrong person. I have to commend him on making up the lie about the idol saving two people. It created lots of paranoia and really could’ve done some damage. But the others on the tribe didn’t fall into the trap, and Michael found himself without and idol and without his closest ally. The only thing saving him is the fact that they may need him in challenges down the line.

14. Jenna Bowman- Jenna was shown in the preview to be getting closer with Sebastian. Interesting. That shouldn’t really put a target on her back since she’s proven to be a follower rather than a strategist. She’ll probably be okay (but then again, is anyone in this trio really safe?).

13. Bradley Kleihege- Bradley clearly didn’t think he was the leader, but got pegged as the leader of the opposing alliance. After telling the camera that the leader never wins, it’ll be funny to see him blindsided at some point…but with the majority, and Michael giving up his idol, that time is a long ways away.

12. Chris Noble- The Naviti tribe is incredibly strong (especially with Brendan out on the Malolo tribe), but if for some reason they lose, I think the Chris vs. Dom feud will come to an end…and Chris is the one without an idol.

11. Angela Perkins- Angela won’t go home before Chris does. But she doesn’t really seem to be fitting in…anywhere…

10. Chelsea Townsend- Chelsea and Sebastian are apparently in an alliance, and at the bottom of the totem pole? Or is that just a bunch of bologna that Michael and Brendan were using to get them to change their votes? We really don’t know, but Chelsea is still in the majority of the tribe, so I think she’s safe as long as she lays low.

9. Sebastian Noel- Sebastian was given the option to flip from Michael, and decided to stick with his alliance. I think that was the best move for him, and with Brendan gone, they’re going to need Seb for challenges. Also, who doesn’t love his candy metaphors?

8. Libby Vineck- Libby had a great second episode, but has now been lying under the radar. Since Donathan and Laurel teamed up with Dom and Wendell, where does that leave Libby and James? Only time will tell.

7. James Lim- James seems to have redeemed himself from a horrible challenge performance in episode one. He made a move in episode two. And he was pretty quiet in episode three. James has been all over the place, so I think he’s in the same boat as Libby, and only time will tell where his true alliance will lie.

6. Wendell Holland- Wendell is still a force in challenges and seems to be getting along with everyone. Now that Laurel and Donathan want to work with him and Domenick, things are looking even better for him.

5. Desiree Afuye- Desiree was the one who said to vote out Brendan. I just think that’s an important thing to note, as Brendan was the one who got the blindside. So, good job Des! You made a move, AND Bradley is taking all of the heat for it. Bravo.

4. Kellyn Bechtold- Kellyn was tempted with a Ghost Island game, and she turned it down to have a vote at tribal. She’s not falling for any temptations, and it proved to be a great move because her alliance was able to get out a huge threat in Brendan. Kellyn seems to be second in command to Bradley, but yet again, Bradley is getting all the heat for it. Kellyn is one of my favorites to watch, and I think she has lots of longevity in the game.

3. Donathan Hurley- Donathan has this new alliance with Laurel, Dom, and Wendell, and the preview shows him growing closer to Chris too. He’s in a great position, and has lots of power, while also being pretty under the radar.

2. Domenick Abbate- Dom is powerful as ever. He has an idol, a legacy advantage, and now has Laurel and Donathan on his side. The only thing he needs to be truly safe is for Chris to have his torch snuffed at tribal council.

1. Laurel Johnson- Laurel is the MVP to me this week. She was able to align with the most powerful person on the tribe, Domenick, and she proved she was the strongest female in the challenges. The way she dominated the reward challenge is something to admire, and I think she’s finally coming out of her shell and playing the game.

I think the trio of Michael, Jenna, and Stephanie may be doomed…but this is Survivor. Never doubt the power of a blindside.

PREDICTIONS:

Going Home- Stephanie Johnson
