Celebrity Big Brother S1 Power Rankings (Top 10)

Feb 11, 2018 by PowerRankings101
imageAlready three episodes in, and I am LOVING Celebrity Big Brother. Such great personalities, good (but not overwhelming) drama, and some cool challenges. This is already shaping up to be an excellent season. Chuck is gone, which sucks, but it seems like there may be a switch up in store for the house as Omarosa was the only one who voted for James, and Keshia also seemed blindsided. There’s also Metta, who apparently thought “voting for Chuck” was voting to SAVE Chuck, so he may also be on the outs somewhat.

10. Omarosa- Omarosa had control, being in a tight 7-person alliance, and a tight bond with Shannon and then Keshia. But then she blew it all by becoming dictating again, like she has been on multiple other shows and occasions. Now that she is on the outs, it is a good time to strike down Omarosa, for she is a pretty savvy player of this game. While production may want her to stick around longer, she’s just the most obvious threat at this point.

9. Keshia Knight Pulliam- If Omarosa pulls off something like a veto win or special twist, then her right-hand gal could be sent packing. Keshia had a plan (a bad plan) in motion to put Mark up and get out James, but neither of those things happened. Keshia has no power in the house, and will be out the door shortly after Omarosa unless she switches something up.

8. Metta World Peace- Metta may quit the game. He really doesn’t wanna be there for any other reason than having fun, and he’s expressed wanting to leave and see his wife. He gets a pay check either way, so maybe he’ll force people to vote him off. But right now, there are bigger fish to fry than Metta, so he may be sticking around longer than he (or any of us) wants.

7. James Maslow- James is still a huge threat, but I think he proved that strategic threats are more important than physical threats when he laid low and let the house explode. James needs to keep laying low, and maybe try to align with some girls (Ariadna is the most obvious person to go to, seeing as she was a fellow “baby”), and keep the snarky comments to the diary room. If he can learn from his week one mistakes, he could be around a lot longer than expected.

6. Shannon Elizabeth- Shannon is awesome at the game…but maybe she’s too awesome. Marissa and Ross are also superfans, but keep it under wraps. Shannon has shown her strength, and really needs to take a backseat this week. She will probably always be due for a blindside. How she maneuvers around the block, and keeps herself safe will determine how long she stays around. I’m still a huge fan.

5. Mark McGrath- Nobody is threatened by Mark, except for maybe Shannon when he told her straight up that she was a threat. But Mark truly isn’t a threat. He’s good socially, but lacks the physical game, and hasn’t impressed anyone with strategy. Mark hasn’t been able to truly adapt to an alliance, but maybe that’s his best move right now (until he has to grab a life vest).

4. Ariadna Gutierrez- Like Mark, Ariadna is kind of floating. But people seem to love her. She’s sweet, beautiful, and funny, so I’m sure she’s got security going forward for some time.

3. Brandi Glanville- I’m actually really impressed with Brandi. She has made some remarks, but is really keeping her social game at a good place, not trying to be too abrasive. She clashed with James, but ultimately voted to keep him, showing that she is playing with her head and not her heart. That’s a good quality to have in this game. I’m a fan of hers and think she’s in the right position right now.

2. Marissa Jaret Winokur- Marissa is doing a really cool thing. She’s in lots of people’s tight alliance (Ross, Shannon, Brandi), but is never the head of the alliance. She is never going to be the one stricken down if alliances crumble, for she is adaptable. She knows how to keep her superfan status at a low, and doesn’t seem to pose a threat. BUT, while not being a threat, she still has enough of a voice to stay out of floater territory and actually have a case to win. One of my favorites.

1. Ross Matthews- Ross is the man to beat now, but not in an obvious way. He is also (like Marissa), in many people’s business, but he also has the advantage of appealing to both the men and women of the house, in terms of alliance. He has hung out with James, Metta, and Mark, while also talking to the women, and no one seems to distrust him. He’s also great television, and seems to be the fan favorite right now amongst viewers.

Omarosa had it all, but lost it all. I should’ve seen it coming. With Ross on her toes, she’ll need some luck on her side to avoid being eliminated. Or Metta will just quit the game. Or both! Who knows?!

PREDICTIONS:

Going Home- Omarosa
