I was correct in predicting the NBA Players and Team Chomp’s eliminations. But with a U-turn in play, new teams coming out on top, and the competition dwindling, it is much harder to predict this time around.
7. Trevor & Chris (Violinists)- They had been staying at 4th place all season. This is the first time we’ve seen them take a dip, and it was a drastic one. They’re the prime candidates for elimination right now.
6. Eric & Daniel (Twin Brothers)- These guys manage to squeak in at the very end, and remain safe. With a u-turn in play, I unfortunately predict that the twins will squeak by yet again.
5. Cody & Jessica (Newly Dating)- They are strong contenders to get U-turned, and they’re already behind quite a few teams now. I really hope they can come back from whatever obstacles stand in their way, but if they’re going to go home at any point in the competition, it’ll be this week.
4. Henry & Evan (Dating Debaters)- They’ve been a little shaky here and there, but I think this week was another successful one for them. They’re still not THE ones to beat, but I still think they’re pretty much contenders at this point.
3. Alexander & Conor (IndyCar Drivers)- These guys have been keeping up with all of the top dogs, and they placed first in the first leg of the night. For that, they crack the top 3.
2. Kristi & Jen (Professional Skiers)- Kristi and Jen haven’t placed first since week one, but they’ve been hanging in there at the top in either 2nd or 3rd place since. They’re right there at the top and one good week should put them back in that top spot. They’re likable enough that I think they can dodge a U-turn, but even if they do get U-turned, I think they’ll recover.
1. Lucas & Brittany (Dating Lifeguards)- A proposal at the mat after a giant comeback for the lifeguards. How can I not put them at the top? If they get to the U-turn mat first, there’s a good chance they can get “revenge” on Jody (even though I’m team Jessica all the way…she made a good move). If they play their cards right, they might be on top more often.
We could have another non-elimination leg on our hands, but because of the U-turn, I think we’ll see an elimination, and right now, the violinists seem to have the most stacked against them.
