So we didn’t lose anyone last week, but apparently we have a double elimination this week, so we’ll be on track with 7 couples left next week. Let’s rank.
9. Cedric & Shawn (Former NBA Players)- They were down week one, they bounced back week two. They’re down week three. But here’s the thing. Cedric’s body is really taking its toll. So how much further can he go? With a speed bump, I say their chances are quite slim of making it forward. I really think their time has come unfortunately.
8. Joey & Tim (Competitive Eaters)- They keep holding on, but I really think they have been struggling and in a double elimination, the odds of them surviving are pretty small in my opinion. They just make too many simple mistakes.
7. Eric & Daniel (Twin Brothers)- I still don’t know about these guys. They’re not good at the mental stuff, which keeps me worried for them. I just think they’ll be eliminated pretty shortly. The fact that they have another Head-to-Head leg this episode means that I have them JUST above the bottom two spots. I think they survive merely.
6. Lucas & Brittany (Dating Lifeguards)- Brittany butt heads with Jessica, and it may go on to hurt them later down the line. But for now, they both sit right in the middle of the pack.
5. Cody & Jessica (Newly Dating)- Jessica could get in trouble with Brittany, but because Jody is the stronger team, I think they inch them out a smidge. But they did take a step backwards (though it shouldn’t hurt them in the long run)
4. Trevor & Chris (Violinists)- 4th place for three weeks in a row. So I’ll put them at 4th place in this list.
3. Kristi & Jen (Professional Skiers)- They have consistently been toward the top. That shouldn’t change.
2. Alexander & Conor (IndyCar Drivers)- I think these guys are a lot of fun to watch. They have two of the bigger edits of the season so far, so I expect them to be in it for a long long time.
1. Henry & Evan (Dating Debaters)- Yay! The Debaters not only bounced back, but won the leg. I’m amazed at how they bounce back, and if they can keep it up like this, they could take this entire competition as the underdogs.
Well, we still have lots of contenders, but in a double elimination, having a speed bump will probably knock the NBA guys out. Then, its between the eaters, the twins, and the lifeguards for the bottom spot. I’m gonna go with the guys that I think are the weakest overall and have made the most mistakes.
