Survivor S35 Power Rankings (Top 6)

Well, I certainly didn’t see that coming. Lauren’s elimination came as a surprise to us, but it definitely goes to show how paranoia ensues and takes over these contestants’ brains. I’m interested to see what Ben does to get through this week, considering he has no more idol. But if Ben goes this week, I will still applaud him for keeping his idol a secret. It definitely worked in his favor, which it certainly didn’t for Ryan, Mike, or Lauren this season. Now, nobody has an idol, so maybe someone will find another one, and maybe we’ll see another blindside. C’mon, Survivor isn’t that predictable. Also, that loved-ones challenge with the black and white rocks will officially go down as the worst challenge Survivor has ever had. So lame, and not skill-based whatsoever. Anyways, let’s rank the rest of the contestants left.

6. Ashley Nolan- Ashley was the number one culprit of the “let’s get rid of Ben” movement. If Ben finds this out, Ben will be ready to send her home. We already know Chrissy and Ryan have wanted her out in the past. She is also in a super tight open alliance with Devon. And she is a challenge beast. If she doesn’t win immunity, why not vote her out? She’s one of the biggest threats out there.

5. Ben Driebergen- Ben doesn’t have an idol anymore, but let’s think about this…Ben has been targeted week after week after week, and has still somehow managed to hang in there. I don’t think Ben is going to give up, and while he might be an easy vote off, he is still a contender to win immunity or get another idol. I don’t think Ben’s journey is over yet, and after his big move last week, he could have a case to win it in the end.

4. Devon Pinto- My only worry with Devon is how he kept boasting about his tight-knit relationship with Ashley. He gave up immunity for a back massage. If Lauren didn’t give her idol to Mike, and played it for herself, then there would be no votes for Ben or Lauren, and there’s a good chance Ryan and Chrissy could’ve gotten people to target Devon. Devon is a strong competitor, and has already said to be super close with Ashley. He has managed to stay off the radar thus far, but I worry that he’ll run into some danger if Ashley or Ben win immunity or get another idol.

3. Chrissy Hofbeck- People don’t like Chrissy, and have wanted her out for a few weeks now. But I don’t think she strikes people as a jury threat. Ben and Devon are much more likable in the face of a jury, so I don’t think Chrissy is the right person to take out right now. Also, now that she knows that Ben voted for Lauren and not her, she may be a little more willing to work with Ben again. She just has to stop playing a personal game and go full force on strategy. If she can, she may find her way to the finale.

2. Ryan Ulrich- Ryan has only gotten votes once this entire game, and it was to flush out his idol. Ryan isn’t a threat in anyone’s eyes. He can’t win challenges, and has been on the bottom of the numbers for a few votes now. People aren’t afraid of Ryan, and probably think they can take him out at any time. Why get him out now when you have Ashley, Ben, Devon, and Chrissy, who have all proven themselves in challenges.

1. Mike Zahalsky- My boy Mike has rose to the top of the leaderboard. He could have stuck with Lauren and gotten 4th place. But Mike is here to win, so he went against Lauren, the biggest threat, and is now a free agent once again. Everyone is going to want Mike for a number. Everyone is going to try to get Mike to vote with them. There are bigger fish to fry, and right now, I think Mike has the best chance of finding his way to the final tribal council.

I don’t know what will happen, since we’ve seen so many shocking boots thus far. But I’m excited to see how it plays out, as there are reasons to love and hate each of these contestants’ gameplay.

5. Ashley is just kind of a floater. She seems to just go with the pack and she should flip onto Chrissy and Ryan. That would be interesting, because if it wasn't for Chrissy ashley would have gotten 18th

4. I like mike and what he represents and I hope he gets himself more to the top, but he is in real trouble.
