Dancing With The Stars S25 Power Rankings (Finals)

Nov 21, 2017 by PowerRankings101
imageThe finals are here. Julianne, and redemption, and freestyles, oh my!

8. Drew Scott and Emma Slater (1st Dance)- Drew deservedly went home, but this dance was one of his best (until his freestyle). So good for him for improving.

7. Drew Scott and Emma Slater (Freestyle)- And this was his best dance of the season. But even his freestyle was overshadowed with better dancing from the troop around him. It’s hard dancing with so many people. As we saw later with Jordan, some people can handle it, but I don’t think Drew was at the place to handle dancing with so many pros. Regardless, this was Drew’s best dancing, and good for him for being the underdog and entertaining week after week.

6. Frankie Muniz and Witney Carson (1st Dance)- This dance was fun, charming, and showed the lovable side of Frankie we’ve seen all season. But in comparison to everything else tonight, it was one of the less memorable routines. Granted, I still enjoyed it so much.

5. Frankie Muniz and Witney Carson (Freestyle)- Frankie’s freestyle had some missteps, but it definitely showed quite an amazing journey for him. I’m glad Whitney took those liberties and went against the norm. For Frankie, it was super successful. It didn’t resonate as much for me, but impressed me enough to applaud it.

4. Lindsey Stirling and Mark Ballas (1st Dance)- Out of the perfect scoring dances tonight, this was the one that was least impressive. The song just didn’t fit for me, and keep the overall tone of the dance sort of empty. But the dancing itself was perfection, as the scores show. How she was able to stay in hold and poised despite the quick footwork…truly admirable.

3. Jordan Fisher and Lindsay Arnold (1st Dance)- Jordan is just an insane mover. He can move quicker than anyone the show has seen in a long time (celebrity wise). The top two freestyles obviously took the cake tonight, but out of the first round, this was head and shoulders above the rest. His facial expressions were fun as well, and while he’s had a more emotional commitment to other routines in the past, this one was just pure fun and perfection once again.

2. Lindsey Stirling and Mark Ballas (Freestyle)- Lindsey and Mark had a fun opener, which was worthy of some smiles and head nods. It wasn’t until she started playing her violin where I was truly stunned. It reminded me of when Nyle DiMarco danced blindfolded seasons ago. It was just a magical moment showing who SHE was, and this was a top 5 dance of the season for me. I just wish it started as strong as it ended, and we could’ve had someone beat Jordan on the power rankings.

1. Jordan Fisher and Lindsay Arnold (Freestyle)- While Lindsey and Mark had the most creative material of the night, Jordan had the best overall dance. The dancing was crisp, energetic, and fun. But what is most impressive was mashup of so many different styles. There was every style imaginable. And unlike Drew, he fit in perfectly with the troop dancers. In fact, he looked even better than them at points. This was Jordan’s season the whole season long, and to not give him the top honor would be a shame. But this is an earned top spot, and should be his crowning dance that gives him the win.

It has been a battle between Jordan and Lindsey all season long, and I’m sure one of them will end up victorious. Frankie has been a great dark horse, and he probably has a huge fan base, but the scores speak for themselves. If I had it my way, Jordan would be our winner, and when the end is so tight like this, it’s hard to predict, so I’ll go with my hopes. Mark hasn’t won a third mirror ball, but Lindsay Arnold has not won any. This is her best chance so far, so I’m rooting for her to get it. Regardless of what happens, the winner will have deserved it because all three dancers (notice how I call them dancers, not celebrities) are worthy in their own special ways.

PREDICTIONS:

Winner- Jordan Fisher and Lindsay Arnold

Second Place- Lindsey Stirling and Mark Ballas

Third Place- Frankie Muniz and Whitney Carson
